Avis Great Apartment Guesthouse

Al nostro arrivo ho telefonato e hanno detto che era presto, all'orario stabilito abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora, appartamento con arredamento molto vecchio, bagno molto vecchio e sporco, vasca distrutta, nel pomeriggio nel fare la doccia l'acqua era fredda, telefono e mi dicono che il giorno dopo avrebbero mandato un tecnico, il giorno dopo il tecnico arriva e mi dice che cambia tutto lo scaldabagno in quando non funziona da trmpo, quindi perché aspettare il nostro arrivo per effettuare la sostituzione, asciugamani vecchi e macchiati. Letto moto piccolo con un solo cuscino, serrande che non chiudevano e quindi tutte le notti con la luce di un lampione di strada perché anche senza tende.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Didn’t realise at first that this is a shared apartment. We had our bathroom en suite which was good; the other room in the apartment had theirs in the hallway. Shared kitchen and living room. Photos of kitchen and bathroom are taken with a wide-angle lens, not as spacious as they look on photo. Kitchen with stove, oven, fridge and washing machine. Could be better equipped when it comes to mugs etc (only two large coffee mugs which is too little considering the apartment is for 4 people in total). “Bed” is only 140 cm wide and consists of a wire framed slatted bed base with a gnarly mattress. The bed squeaks which each movement, waking up your bed partner. Neither comfy nor wide enough for a good night’s sleep. Also, our window faced the street, exposed to sun all day long, and even with the shutters closed all day the room was very hot so sleep didn’t come easily. No vent. Positives: Great location. Lots of wardrobe space with both shelves and hangers. Apartment clean. Friendly lady who met us with key. Living room spacious with dining table, couch and two armchairs. Iron in one of the cupboards in living room (no ironing board though). The fact that this is a shared apartment threw us off but it worked out pretty well (except for first few nights when there were younger people living in the other room who looked the door to the living room so we couldn’t use it). Would not stay here again due to the very uncomfortable bed, needs upgrade.

Not a very good experience. We walked in expecting to have a one bedroom apartment to ourselves but it’s actually a two bedroom apartment and there was one guy in the other room and a guy and girl sleeping in the living room. Our bathroom was also accessible by everyone.
