Great stay with family

Lovely and Spacious villa
Publié le 4 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis Villa was absolutely lovely, we were a big party and it never felt cramped at all.
The outside area was just perfect, a lovely comfortable seating area under shade, dining tables in numerous places, sunbeds and the pool was fantastic! We couldn't get the kids out!
Really useful touches such as washing up liquid sponge, tea towels, hand soap, towels and a pump for the inflatables were great.
Short walk to restuarants and shops including a small supermarket. Really quiet location which was lovely for us!
We hired a car which we found useful to visit nearby places.
Only small negative I could say is it would of been useful to have a manual in the villa itself, although the app was good, instructions for the oven, washing machine, trips etc would of been useful and the hot water took a while to come through but once it did showers were fab!
Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa and would happily stay again! :-)

Fantastic location & property but in need of some TLC

The location is perfect in Golf-del-Sur, a short walk to the restaurants, bars and Hyperdino supermarket. The facilities in the kitchen were great & we had all the utensils/fridge & freezer space we needed. The layout of the villa is quite quirky. The pool area is lovely, gets the sun all day and had ample seating /sun bed space. The property overall is huge, we hired the full property including the 3 bed apartment, it could be absolutely fantastic but is in desperate need of some renovation and just a few more homely touches. There are a lot of broken & knocked around furniture, in one of the rooms the wardrobe had been built incorrectly & wasn’t functional. We are thankful we didn’t have to use the traditional annexe in all honesty as it smelt so strongly of sewage/drains and then we realised there was a manhole cover inside one of the cupboards in the living space. The space would be better used as a communal space/games room, it’s a huge space with so much potential and felt wasted with its current use. The space outside of the 3 bed apartment & barbecue area again could be fantastic but it was poorly lit, dirty & bags of broken glass inside the cupboards. I really do not like to complain at all and despite having quite a few bug bearers on the trip we did make the most of our stay. I think we just felt disappointed as it’s a fantastic property with so much potential & felt sad by how run down it has gotten.

We respect all our clients views and opinions and indeed will act on their feedback (where appropriate) in order to improve our guests experience.
The main part of the villa was completely refurbished in late 2021.
The 3 bed apartment was only built in 2022.
The 2 bed annex is rustic style but in keeping with Canarian tradition. We are sorry about the smell you reported - there was a blocked due to previous guests putting wet wipes down the toilet - and this is now resolved.
The guests before you were a large group who hugely mistreated the villa. The cleaners had a terrible job trying to clean it for your arrival. We are very sorry that in the rush to prepare it that they overlooked some damage the guests had made (i.e. they broke the wardrobe).
We did not hear from you at all during your stay so assumed that you were having a great stay. Not that you should have too but one call to us and we can have immediately resolved any of the issues you outlined. Our friendly staff are available to our guests throughout their stay.
It is a magnificent villa - quite unique - and as you say its also in a great location.
Our review score is very high and we are very confident that it will continue to be so.

Schöne Villa
Publié le 2 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwaySchöne Villa, sehr schön gelegen, mit leider irreführender Beschreibung, denn der Pool ist leider nicht beheizt und das Wasser mit ca. 16 Grad schon extrem kalt ! Auch die Flugzeuge, die direkt über der Villa im Landeanflug sind, kommen regelmäßig und stellenweise auch nachts !
Ansonsten bietet die Villa Platz für viele Personen und man kann es sich in verschiedenen Bereichen ( am Pool/am Grill ) gemütlich machen!
Die Villa ist sauber, die Matratzen sind gemütlich und wir haben uns mit der Familie wohl gefühlt!

The villa is not advertised as having a heated pool. Fortunately the weather is normally so warm that it is not required.

The villa its self could do with a bit of TLC but I think this is the case with most of them with the experience I've had. The area is quite but there are plenty restaurants and bars within walking distance.
One thing I would mention is the tiles around the pool can be very slippery when wet so be careful. Also you are in the flight path so you do get the planes overhead but this didn't really bother us.
Overall we had a great holiday like most thing its what you make of it.

The villa was fully refurbished 2 years ago and has been very popular ever since. After a busy season, we agree, the paintwork did need some touching up in parts and we did this straight after you left. (We are sorry we weren't able to do this before). Subsequently the guest who stayed 7th to 14th Oct (immediately after you) gave a 5 star review on VRBO.
The resort is located a 15 min drive from the airport so you will be aware of planes in the sky but as you said it does not bother guests at all.

Fantastic family getaway

Lovely Place

Thoroughly enjoyable family holiday
Publié le 20 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a group of 9 adults staying for a week at this villa during an unprecedented heatwave/ windy week in July. The villa itself is extremely spacious, however the layout can seem a bit unconventional for some, but this is more than made up for by the sheer size of the accomodation and the incredible pool and outdoor area. Our only issue was the lack of air conditioning, which did mean the rooms were a bit toasty overnight, but we agreed that with fans (of which there were some already in the villa and others we brought after reading similar aircon-relsted reviews) and in not such unprecedented heat this would not normally be an issue.
As other reviews have stated, this villa is on the flight path of incoming planes to Tenerife South Airport, and while the noise may cause issues for some, we had a blast watching the incoming planes and making games out of it. The area the villa is in is lovely, there are plenty of local bars and restaurants, and even more less than a 20 minute car journey away in either Las Americas or Costa Adeje. Carlos the manager was very easy to communicate with and sorted our requests promptly, and we had an absolutely brilliant holiday here.

Publié le 4 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayVery enjoyable, plenty of space albeit Villa a little tired in places Fairly well equipped - pool amazing very clean overall met everybody’s needs for 14 people age range 6 - 67, no hot tub as listed, on flight path but you get use to planes passing over us, 2nd fridge not working but overall good value for money

The villa main part of the villa was completely refurbished in 2020 and has a lovely modern feel to it. The 3 bed apartment was newly built in 2022.
We do not advertise a hot tub (!)
Apologies about the 2nd fridge. We were unaware until now but will get that replaced immediately.
