Great location when stopping in Tenterfield. Room had all amenities I needed. Bed was very warm and comfortable. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Easy check in.

As we were only travelling through town, we required a clean, quiet, comfortable and well appointed room at a reasonable price. The Peter Allen motel certainly impressed. Thank you to the management.

Just time for a proper refit - different coloured tiles in bathroom with choice of paint colour do it NO justice. We find if the Shower is in good condition generally everything else is also, yet here the shower needs to be redone for travellers like us looking for reasonable Clean & Tidy bed to sleep. The bedspread has stains on it so not a good feeling to start with, then had to figure out the power point to plug the TV into - as we couldn't reach to roof point where it should have been. Sad to see places this poor just trying to stay afloat but its not fair on people paying to stay doing county trips to spend in towns - then they don't feel like coming back!

We understand the Motor Inn is by no means new, but looks very tired and unloved. Unkempt gardens, broken lighting fixtures within our room, very noisy air conditioning unit, were some things. A lick of paint and some bright newer furnishings would even help.
The gentleman who booked us in was great and a seamless process.
