Very good staff, professional and polite. Clean and maintained very well. Convenient parking in safe locations, easily accessible. Unfortunately room that I had was on higher floor above the bar/restaurant. The smoking area directly below my window was rowdy until the bar shut with noise being heard above the TV even with the old windows closed. Also, the smell of cigarettes would waft up frequently mixed in occasionally with the fatty smell that comes when grilling food.

The furniture in the room was outdated and the bar service was very slow. Surprised to find it is rated 4-star

The property could do with a revamp. There is a lot of noise bleed from rooms next door

Avoid at all costs!

Checked in and straight back out! Dated beyond belief, arrived at 19:30 to be told the hotel was full and we didn’t have the room we paid for so they were going to “upgrade” us to the Manor House but there was a wedding on so expect it to be noisy.. we went over to the room and the smell was unbearable! Forget the noise from the wedding the room was bad enough! Went back to reception and they then some how found us a room that we paid for in the main hotel, after carrying all our luggage up to the new room we get in and again this terrible unclean smell, lights don’t work and it looks like it and the rest of the hotel haven’t been updated since the 70’s! Needless to say we checked out and won’t be returning.

Nice hotel, arrived on a Wednesday, lovely breakfast Thursday morning but only warm on Friday morning.
