Not a great birthday stay

Not great at all. Hotel looked nice. Room was dated and really stuffy at night. Opening the window had little/no effect. Supplied fan didn’t really help. As it was only early twenties during the day I dread to think how bad it would have been after a hot day. Hardly slept due to the temperature of the room. Only there two nights. First night no water at all for hours, was told it would be 10-20 mins, but in the end unable to shower before dinner after driving all day to get there. Toilet couldn’t refill after being flushed. Second night, went to use the pool, it’s quite a small pool. No sauna, there was a steam room which was turned off.

I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you experienced due to the temporary water shut-off and the disruption it caused to your plans.On the day in question, we encountered a major water leak in our main boiler plant room. Upon discovering the issue, an engineer was immediately contacted to attend the hotel as an emergency call out. The engineer arrived promptly, and on assessing the leak, it was decided that a repair was necessary to prevent the issue from worsening. This repair required turning off the water for approximately 30-45 minutes to relieve the pressure and enable the repair to take place safely. We are pleased to inform you that this has now been completely resolved.I deeply regret the inconvenience this caused you, particularly your inability to take a shower during this time. Please accept my sincerest apologies for this disruption. We strive to provide a seamless experience for our guests, and I am sorry we could provide this for you on this occasion.Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to welcome you back soon,Kind regardsAhmet Donmez

It was a last minute decision to stay in the area. Check-in was good as was the room. Breakfast good as well..
