A Good Overnight Stay

Check in was long but not the fault of the staff but credit card acceptance program … it was not reading any card even when keyed in. Staff was great!

We are from Houston traveling to Memphis for a baseball tournament. Our entire team has been wiped out from Hurricane Beryl so we decided to leave a day early and stop halfway. We unfortunately picked this hotel. From the time we arrived last night (9pm) the staff has been nothing but rude to us. Our boys and us were in the lobby talking catching up. They are 13 so a little loud. The lady at the front desk was constantly telling us to hush. Later the kids went to the room and another kid not with us had been ringing door bells.
She followed our kids up to the 2nd floor and marched around until they came out to get on to them. We let her know what the situation was and she said “we were just talking about that”
This morning my kids got off the elevator before me and another women told them they couldn’t be down there without an adult.
We were scolded at breakfast for not having our card case.
I was scolded for asking about the Wi-Fi because it wasn’t working.
It’s just miserable. I’ve never seen such a grouchy group of workers.
Fortunately for us and them we are checking out today
