Nice hotel, close to the beach
This was a great option for us - two adults and two young children - as we had plenty of space (not huge but more than sufficient) and two bedrooms. Flat was clean and tidy, towels and bedding were good. Flat was cleaned daily just like a hotel room would be. Only problem was that the dishwasher was out of order. We only had a few meals there so it was not a big deal but would have been easier to use the dishwasher. Few minutes walk to the beach. Parking was a five min walk away in a secure car park. We would definitely visit again.

Die Nähe zum Strand ist unschlagbar. Das Personal im Rezeptions- und Frühstücksbereich war immer sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Die pfeifende Dame hat alle mit ihrer guten Laune angesteckt. Man konnte sich auch jederzeit mit Fragen zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder Ausflugsmöglichkeiten an die Damen wenden, da war der Service wirklich gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht sehr groß bietet aber eine gute Auswahl. Es wurde auch immer alles zügig aufgefüllt. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Spüle und einem kleinen Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Es gab die Möglichkeit sich Tee oder Kaffee zu machen. Das Badezimmer war recht neu. Nachteil hier war die Glastür, da dadurch das Licht der Straßenbeleuchtung direkt ins Zimmer fiel. Für Menschen, die gerne im Dunken schlafen ist das nicht so gut. Im Haus gab es ca. 5 Zimmer. Das Haus ist recht hellhörig. Parken konnte man im Parkhaus am Strand unter den Dünen für 30 € pro Woche. Das ist ein sehr guter Preis. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers hing tatsächlich vom Personal ab. Eine der Damen hat immer ein Kärtchen mit ihrem Namen an die Tür gehängt. Das Zimmer war dann immer sichtbar aufgeräumt und gereinigt, das Bett gemacht. Die andere Dame hat leider wenig getan. Bei ihr fand ich das tägliche Trinkgeld nicht so gut angelegt. Alles in allem ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich okay und ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Man hört und versteht jedes Wort der Gäste in den Nebenzimmer. Die beiden Betten sind auf Räder und bewegen sich etwas. Nach einiger Zeit kann man im Schlaf auch dazwischen fallen weil der Spalt grösser wird.

Voordeel = hotel mooi dicht bij de zee! En bij de boulevard. Nadeel= dat de hotel in de dorp was geplaatst, wat toch niet zo fijn was, er was vreselijke lawaai! En de hotel zit niet compleet met de kamers erg jammer..

Absolut zentrales Hotel
Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Fußgängerzone in der Innenstadt und man ist super schnell überall. Zum Glück hatte unser Zimmer einen Ventilator, sodass wir bei dem heißen Wetter das Zimmer etwas kühlen könnten. Die Küchenzeile ist gut ausgestattet, sodass einfache Spaghetti oder ähnliches schnell gekocht sind. Leider ist das Haus super hellhörig. Für Personen, die im Hotel gerne ausschlafen möchten, ist dieses Haus nicht geeignet. Ab 7 Uhr morgens ist an Schlaf kaum noch zu denken. Die Türen im ganzen Haus sind wegen fehlender Klinke nicht leise zu schließen und sobald sich auf dem Gang etwas tut, ist man wieder wach. Teilweise hat sogar der Zimmerservice schon um 9:40 Uhr geklopft. Und ist das definitiv zu früh, gerade im urlaub. Ein Türschild für den Zimmerservice gab es nicht. Der Balkon ist übrigens nicht Balkon zu nennen... der Aufpreis lohnt sich definitiv nicht. Also: wer früh aufsteht, hat hier ein schönes Zimmer!!!

Gute Lage zum akzeptablen Preis
Die Lage war sehr gut und nur einen Schritt weit vom Strand entfernt. Die Zimmer sind direkt in der Fußgängerzone und oberhalb des wohl besten Fischrestaurants in Katwijk. Leider wurde die ersten 3 Tage das Zimmer nicht gesäubert und erst nach Aufforderung geputzt. Ebenfalls ist der Style der Einrichtung wohl gewollt, aber der Hocker diente als Nachttisch auf der einen Seite und auf der anderen Seite gab es einen Nachttisch der dem vom Sperrmüll ähnelte. Ebenfalls gibt es keinen grossen Kleiderschrank, wo man Bügel aufhängen kann, so dass man diese Bügel an die beiden KLleiderhaken für Jacken bzw. die Gardinenstange hängen muss. Das Bad ist schön uns gross (wir hatten die Suite Nr.13). Die kleine Küchenzeile ist ebenfalls hilfreich. Leider ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig und die laut zuknallenden Zimmertüren stören.

Apartment mit sep. Schlafzimmer in sehr guter Lage
Wir hatten ein Apartment mit separatem Schlafzimmer in der Tramstraat für eine Woche gebucht. Die Zimmer befinden sich im Erdgeschoss und sind recht schön renoviert, die Wohnküche gut ausgestattet mit Spülmaschine, Cerankochfeld, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine (Senseo-Pads) und ausreichend Geschirr. Das Schlafzimmer ist recht klein und das Bett gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Doppelbett besteht aus zwei 80cm Matratzen. Die Matratzen sind recht weich, machen bei fast jeder Bewegung Geräusche und verschieben sich auf dem Bettrahmen. Wenn man nicht aufpasst landet man in der Besucherritze auf dem Bettrahmen. Vom Schlafzimmer gelangt man direkt in den Innenhof den Gäste benutzen dürfen. Abstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder ist vorhanden. Ein Parkplatz kann bei Bedarf in einem Parkhaus in der Nähe (ca. 150m) an der Hotelrezeption gebucht werden.
