Enjoyable and relaxing stay
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayHome was clean and well stocked. The proximity to Old Forge was great. A 5 minute ride and we had access to many shops and restaurants, but we felt "away from it all" while back at the house. Plenty of kayaks, SUPs, and canoes to enjoy the lake. It is a smaller lake (no motorized boats) so it was easy to paddle and explore.
Some confusion regarding taking trash to the transfer station. Be sure to purchase permit stickers in town at visitors center for each bag you need to drop off.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Cozy Private Retreat
Publié le 9 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe've stayed here before and LOVED the screened in porch - this "cabin" is always accommodating and comfortable, very clean as well. We did run out of propane for the firepit, but did at least get to enjoy it for two nights - the beds are comfortable and the living room as well - kitchen well stocked. Close to everything - we will definitely be renting again.

Great taste of the ADKs
Publié le 8 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayHad our family trip here, place was perfect for 6 adults 3 kids and an infant. The kids loved fishing on the dock. Great fire pit indoors and outdoors. Short trip to Old forge and away from everything at the same time

We saw the bears
Publié le 17 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayIt was a nice place to stay. The dawns over the little lake were beautiful. We saw a mother bear and her cubs about 2 am. They came up on the porch, knocked over a trash can and left when they saw there was no food in the can. The cubs were very cute.
