Best Place to Stay in Kufri

Hard to work with front desk.

I am glad Expedia has changed their ratings. As it turns out I switched reservations to another hotel. I would never have booked this hotel if it had been rated this low, but it was a 4 star and I thought it would be sufficient, but when I read the reviews it was too late to get a refund. I understand not getting a refund for our first night, but the staff would not even work with Expedia to release the funds for any of the 4 nights, even though I requested a refund from Expedia only 30 minutes after making this reservation. I wish the staff would have been willing to work with us because I am sure they would have been able to fill the room later since it was Independence Day weekend.

Horrible smell, pathetic staff, awful hotel
Publié le 17 mai 2017 sur ExpediaPATHETIC hotel . Got decieved seeing their pictures online. They are cheaters. Horrible bathrooms and bad smelling hotel , bathrooms and even the restaurant. It smelled urine everywhere in the hotel. Absolutely hated my stay and had the worst holiday because of the hotel. I wish I could shift the another hotel , but unfortunately I had prepaid for the rooms.

Don't trust the information! It is not true!
Publié le 5 oct. 2016 sur HotelsMe and a friend booked and paid for an upgraded "premier" room at extra cost. We chose this hotel and this upgraded room since it was supposed to be a bigger room than the standard room, with seating area, mountain view, and our own FIREPLACE (!) - which we thougt would be super nice when being in the forest, and the weather forecast said "rain and cloudy".
When we arrived we were shown a room without a view and without a fireplace. It turned out that they did not even have a fireplace at the property at all. We explained straight away in a polite manner that we wanted to cancel the booking and have our money refunded due to totally wrong information on the web page.
Then it all began: No excuse at all, and all the staff we tried to talk to refused to cancel the booking and make any refund nor to contact hotels.com. Some pretended they did something to help, but that was just a lie as well. They also refused to confirm that we did not stay at the hotel. The athmposphere got quite unpleasant. IF they would have tried to solve the situation, this feedback would not have been given. But they really, really behaved badly!
Also, be aware, the rest of the hotel is not even close to being as nice as shown in the pictures. Total disappointment, especially since they continued lying!
