Very nice experience close to centre
Publié le 30 sept. 2019 sur HotelsThe place is in the Upper part of the city - which is 10 min to walk from downtown - but still feels like you live in a quiet village. The place is very nice and recently renovated with an amazing enclosed yard

Perfekte Lage - Guter Kontakt.
Man wohnt wie die Griechen. Schöne kleine Wohnung, mit Sauna in der Dusche.
Mal was anderes wie ein normales Hotel.
Würde jederzeit wieder hin.

Interesting, perhaps even charming, place but...
Publié le 1 oct. 2018 sur HotelsThis is an odd property, more like a (small) collection of apartments than an hotel. The building is generally unstaffed - I saw no one while I was there (though e-mails were answered promptly). My apartment was oddly designed, with a kitchenette that was rather bigger than I needed, the toilet next to the kitchenette, and a shower right in front of the (glass) door. There was also a mini-sauna, which I also didn't need. There was nowhere to hang clothes, or indeed to hang wet towels after use. A redesign of the space would have made a lot of sense. In addition it was quite noisy despite double-glazing - I could hear traffic, people in the building's courtyard, loud cats and dogs outside, and aircraft overhead (luckily not all at the same time). The room did have a number of objets d'art, but these just tended to get in the way.
I think my stay coincided with a big festival, so prices had been increased - it certainly wasn't good value for money

Please note that Villa Ottoman in NOT a Hotel. Is a private villa downtown Thessaloniki. In a few minutes you are in the heart of the city. you have your own private courtyard which is unique for a downtown location. It is PRIVATE and you feel like your home. Our Sauna is also unique for a small villa especially during winter.
In any case we welcome you back again whenever you decide it.
