Run down but cheap
Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HotelsAmericas Best Value Inn & Suites Thief River Falls was cheap but the hotel was run down. We were put in a room very close to the front desk it was noisy. The Hotel Pool was closed for repairs which was one of the reasons I booked the location. he waffle dough was sour and breakfast was limited. It was cheap so my expectations were not that high but being woken up by a dog barking was not great. The front desk staff were helpful.

The staff were helpful, the room we ended up with after an initial change due to a defrosted refrigerator that had made a mess, was fine. Tho newer flooring the overall look and feel was that the property was run down.

We weren't informed that the swimming pool was under renovation and thats one of the reasons why we chose this place because we thought theres swimming pool , we were disappointed 😞

Outside of the building looked really bad. The room was updated a little bit. Pool was closed for maintenance and waffle maker was out of order. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

In need of a refresh. Too many patched ceilings, water damaged moldings and fixtures/doors that simply need replacing.
