This was our first Glamping experience - aged 70 and 80! Hut was beautifully crafted and exactly as advertised with everything you’d need, just on a smaller scale. Beds comfy, (take great care if you climb up to the single bed), shower powerful and hot, tv and WiFi reception reliable. Location couldn’t be beaten. Views east over open countryside, birdsong, fragrant plantings near outdoor seating areas and wildflower area. Also, not far from some of our favourite walks - West Tanfield, Ripley, and Ripon canal. Also a great selection of pubs and restaurants within half an hour in any direction as we decided not to try the single plug-in hob or grill, as only there three nights. Only downside was nowhere to store our few clothes and groceries we brought as every cupboard and drawer was full of stuff - so clothes stayed unpacked in the shower cubicle and groceries on top of wall cupboard. Finally, I counted 13 soft toy animals dotted about. Cute but overkill I think, especially for somewhere that doesn’t allow children 17 and younger who might appreciate them more.
