Très grande chambre bungalow au milieu d'une nature quasi intacte. Très belle décoration. Très propre.La piscine est sympathique. Le repas est très bon.
L'hotel est bien situé et nous avons été récupérés par notre chauffeur pour faire un safari

We chose this hotel based on the strong reviews and it’s mid-range price point versus the other hotels in the area. We stayed for 2 nights and left feeling like part of the family after such a short time! The manager did everything he could to make us feel welcome and the curries he prepared both nights were some of the best we had in Sri Lanka, with great pride and care taken to use different local ingredients and show us what he had used to prepare each feast!
The manager was also very good to our driver - we arrived just before the curfew that had been set (the day after the Colombo attacks) and he offered our driver a room and food (this is normal for the bigger hotels, but not the small ones).
We loved the grounds, set in a very peaceful rural area - we saw peacocks, iguana and monkeys without even starting our safari drive! The private rooms/bungalows are stunning, we have been on safari in Africa several times and the rooms here rivalled those of a 4-5* resort in Africa.
The reason for the the 4 star versus 5 is that clearly this is a fairly new hotel and there are a few areas that can be improved (as there always are) and so I wanted to make sure we gave some constructive feedback - we could see that they have been taking on feedback from other reviewers as they go, which is great. There are just a few little details such as curtains fitting properly in the bedrooms (I appreciate that’s not a massive issue if you’re there for a

Unique and beautiful place

Loved the pool to cool down after a safari tour in Yale National Park not too far from the property. You will need to have a car and driver to access the property. There was a mix up with our booking but the staff were terrific and accommodated us and cooked a lovely meal for us at the last minute. The service culture of a place in our view is demonstrated on how they deal with challenges. The care taker was terrific in responding to the mix up with the booking and is a true testament to the property.

Nice hotel in the jungle
Publié le 21 févr. 2018 sur HotelsVery friendly staffs, had a very lovely stay at this hotel. The hotel has only 4 rooms, and we were the only guests there, so we had the whole hotel for ourself. Its close to Yala Park, but nothing nearby. Better to have all meals at the hotel. But food was good. We had dinner 2 nights in a row there. The only downside was that the internet was super slow. But can't complain in Sri Lanka.

Good lodge with great service!
Publié le 7 avr. 2017 sur ExpediaThe lodge is slightly in the sticks so best to stay here if you have a mode of transport. The rooms are large and spacious and kept clean. The staff are very accommodating providing early breakfasts and customised dinners to suit your dietary requirements. You are in the sticks so be prepared for the insects, but other than that its a nice quiet retreat.

Publié le 30 mars 2016 sur HotelsThis place is fantastic...wished we could have stayed longer. Good location through to Yala. Rooms are fantastic, especially the bathrooms! Place is relaxing and quiet. Staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. The food was wonderful!!! Will come back and stay here next time when we hopefully see some leopards!!!
