Great location!
Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayI stayed here while I was attending an online conference and it was perfect! WiFi was very reliable and the home had everything I needed for my stay. Host was very responsive to any questions I had. Thomas was the perfect location for taking short hikes during breaks in the conference.

Fun stay in Thomas

Cool place , Under Renovations and noisy street
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWell let’s start off with owner was very accommodating. Willing to work with us on checking in early and fix numerous problems with the unit.
The Good
The kitchen was fully stocked the every kind of pot pan and dish.
The Bad.
The unit was undergoing a pretty big cosmetic renovation. Painting and ongoing repairs were everywhere.
There was a layer of dust and dirt on all the windows and TV.
The main bed was literally falling apart and had to have someone come in and fix it. Even after that it was a horrible bed.
The only couch seemed like a Facebook marketplace leftover and was extremely uncomfortable to sit on.
The Ugly.
To add insult to injury the front door was 20 feet from a major road that had semi trucks / dump trucks / local traffic running all day and night. Never got a good nights sleep.
Maybe things will be fixed and cleaned up when you get there. But I doubt the traffic will ever stop.

yes, it was unfortunate that we didn't know the bed was broken. Some training for housekeeping needed.
I have slept on the bed many times and I find it fine, but thanks for the feedback. You could have made it directly to us.
The couch is brand new from Ashley Furniture. I think That is an unfair description of it.
As I mentioned when we discussed the painting (not extensive renovations), we could have canceled your visit when we lost a week due to illness, but chose to honor your booking instead. Looks like that was a mistake.
Dust everywhere? That's nonsense. Two people inspected the place after the part work was done.
Cannot help the position and the traffic. It's 200 feet from the best coffee shops, art stores and some great restaurants.
I think this sort of review is unnecessary.

This is a cute little place that’s a 2 minute walk to the Fiddle! It was too cold to use the deck out back but there’s a small fire place and it’s hidden from the road. It has everything you need and a nice efficient kitchen.

Great location close to Blackwater Falls & Seneca Rocks
Publié le 5 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayPerfect comfortable place & location while traveling through north WV. Easy check-in process & good communication. Just be aware that many Thomas downtown stores & restaurants closed Monday thru Wednesday. But Tip-Top & Mountain City Brewing were open & excellent.
