Avis 1820’s Farmhouse near Elk Mountain Ski Resort- 2 Bed 2.5 Bath

Our family enjoyed a fantastic getaway at Fiddle Lake Farm. It was just what we needed to get away and recharge. It was like stepping back 100 years but with all the comforts and conveniences you could wish for - including an incredible 4th July fireworks display! We enjoyed exploring the farm , kayaking, rowing, playing games and simply relaxing. Pam, Craig and Jeffery were incredibly helpful, responsive and welcoming. We look forward to returning.

Family of four, kids 7 and 5, headed to Elk mountain for our first ever family ski trip. The house and grounds were exactly what we were looking for. There was about 3 feet of snow on the ground and the farm looked like a winter wonderland. The Benson family were very kind and thoughtful. They showed us all the best sledding spots on the property and made sure we were comfortable. The farmhouse was clean and cozy. It was a perfect getaway for the four of us. It’s a close drive to Elk Mountain. We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our first ski trip. Thank you Pam and Craig!

Words cannot convey how kind, thoughtful, considerate, and generous the Benson family is. We have never gone anywhere else that has allowed us to truly decompress and relax. The farmhouse is very comfortable & clean. A great kitchen filled with everything you could need & if it’s not, Pam and Craig will go out of their way to help. Our favorite part of the house was the porch. Lots of options for sitting and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We had the pleasure of watching baby bunnies, deer, turkeys & Clem the cat! The WiFi is great if you need to stay connected. Plenty of places to take walks/hikes. We were able to fish and relax at the lake property also. This is the PERFECT place to escape!! Highly recommend!!
