Not as good as I expected
Publié le 30 juill. 2021 sur HotelsStaff were all lovely, the details on hotels.com is very incorrect - no welcome drinks, breakfast not included, not a top floor room - someone needs to update this - it did influence my choice in hotel so was disappointing to be told it’s incorrect. The room is pretty rundown and daggy - the shower curtain and grout need a seriously good clean. Heaps of pillows and blankets which is good. The bar is outdoors and directly below the rooms and is sooo annoyingly loud - must have been 20-30 loud drunk people there until midnight - sounded like they were in our room - last night was not a good sleep. Restaurant was awesome!!

My apologies Hayley re the welcome drink and breakfast information. I didnt even know there was a reference to top floor so have fixed this as well.
I hear what you are saying about the room. Some people love the old feel of the building, some love the feeling they are staying in an old homely European style ski lodge. But definitely take on board the comments about the bathroom!
Re the bar...yes some nights it does get pretty loud with everyone having fun on their holidays .... we do try and keep a good atmoshere in the bar as well as trying to minimise the noise ....its a challenge getting the smokers inside!

Publié le 2 mai 2021 sur HotelsAnnie is a great host, very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The lodge is what we expected, just like a lodge in the Swiss Alps, great atmosphere, great breakfast, great value. Would definitely recommend.

Second visit to this lovely, quirky Lodge in as many months. Great staff and amazing food at the restaurant and bar. Love it and cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back.

Very welcoming, friendly place. Immediately, they assisted us with the bicycle transport for our non-circuit, multi-day bike tour. The house may be relatively old, but very well maintained; the rooms generously large; we enjoyed the balcony with the panoramic view, and overlooking their terrace, the afternoon live band music added to the holiday feeling; ahh, and don't miss out on the, by far and between, largest selection of German beers.
