Perfect Spot to Visit The Giants!

Owner cares but Be aware
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe bed is extremely firm. It’s the firmest bed I have ever slept on. If you sleep on your side like I do, take this under consideration. The listing also says that they have a washer/dryer but they don’t. As a vac home rental owner I don’t have any problem with making changes in my listing.
It’s a wonderful newly built en suite duplex nicely decorated with basic hotel room amenities, microwave and very small fridge. Not much room for prepping meals. Eating out is a better option.

We are so grateful that you felt our property was a wonderful newly built suite nicely decorated! We are pleased to offer our guests a complementary snack basket with popcorn, oatmeal, healthy snack packs and snack bars plus coffee, tea, water & chocolates. As our listing description states, we do not have a full kitchen. We have a kitchenette with a wet bar, microwave, mini refrigerator, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, plates, bowls, coffee cups, beverage glasses, silverware, cutting board & napkins. We also have a propane BBQ grill outdoors with two picnic tables. It is ideal for preparing casual meals after exploring the Park.
We are sorry that you felt the mattress was too firm for your liking. We have been hosting this property for 2 1/2 years and this is the first we have heard this strong concern. We realize that everyone has their own personal preference and we have added a 3 inch pillow top mattress pad to the mattress in the effort to appeal to all preferences. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We realized about 3 months ago that our listing description showed a washer & dryer as an amenity. I could not change it on my end. It was a Vrbo technical error. I called many times trying to correct the issue but it took Vrbo over 2 months to fix the glitch in their system. I notified all of our guests ahead of their arrival date to let them know of the issue. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience.

Wonderful Stay

The property was amazing. Under a mile to Sequoia National Park. Beautiful views from the front porch. Well stocked with snacks and coffee. Beautifully decorated and so clean. Great communication. One of my favorites.

I was lucky enough to have visited the park previously and when I started trying to plan our first vacation in way too long, I knew that I wanted to include the park at the start.
The unit was exactly as advertised. I know you're probably thinking 'well it should be', and while I agree, I also travel for work almost 5 months out of the year and I can assure you that this is not always the case. The pictures you see are recent and the descriptions accurate, but they really don't do the place justice if for nothing else but being able to hear the river flow while watching the birds wake up
The hosts were super helpful and communicated way better than I did or do. This made the process for getting to the property and checking in and out a breeze. They even sent a list of nearby places to eat, shop and explore that was truly invaluable. It made it seem like I had really planned every detail but all I did was book the room. Thanks for that!
The room was very comfortable for the both of us, has everything that you could want and the location is probably the best in 3 Rivers. I would definitely recommend this place and especially the hosts to anyone looking to stay near SNP. Even though the wife suffers from a bit of altitude sickness when we get to higher elevations, she agreed to come back one day.

My husband and I both agree that these two are the most thoughtful hosts that we have every dealt with. They were communicative, provided great info on the area, provided snacks, two bottles of water, oatmeal, coffee, and tea. The suite was beautifully decorated and was clean. The suite had a wonderful AC unit and even a electric fireplace. One thing to note is that the mattress is very firm, so if you are side sleepers, make sure to be prepared. However, we would definitely stay here again!
