Cozy stay
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwaythe stay was great. the house was clean, beds were comfortable, and there was a fun walkway access to the river. my family enjoyed giving treats to the horse and playing in the backyard as well.

A thin slice of heaven
Publié le 14 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had an amazing stay at Kaweah River Horse Ranch. The accommodation was clean and cool, which was welcome with the heatwave outside. The house has everything you need, a well-equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and comfortable beds. A selection of board games entertained us in the evenings, and the hot tub was a welcome soak after a day on the trails. The river is the cherry on top! Beautiful water to wash off the stress of the day! We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay to explore more of what sequoia has to offer.

Not all bad-Refund was quick
Publié le 26 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe arrived and we knew it was going to be hot but the description said it was air conditioned and it had a pool. No pool and both window unit air conditioners were not working properly. With 110 outside and 93 inside we knew we couldn't stay here. The river was nice but you had to walk by a green mosquito infested pond to get there. Yes there is a horse on property along with a lot of droppings! I would not recommend staying here.

Unfortunately we have added Susan and her husband to our do not rent to list because they were so rude. Her husband's language was unnecessary . We only want guests who want to be there . They did not spend the night and I don't know what they read because we've never had a pool so I believe they read someone else's profile and got it mixed up with us. The horse eats twice a day and yes he does poop it is clean twice a day. The pond does not have whatever she said. As far as mosquitoes that's just a flat out lie. it does have is four leaf clovers that covers the top. We have trout, Turtles, ducks, frogs and a few other things that live in the pond. The clovers are something that they all eat so that is why the county told us we could not clear them out. I have been doing this since the early 80s and never had anybody as rude to deal with. Our guest are always a delight. Had never stayed in the room or anything at all we were having and it was posted on the internet and everywhere extreme excess Heat that we have never had before it was 116 the day they . There are two air conditioners in that room both of which work fine and they did their best and they got the room down to the high 70s. I don't think you can expect more than that at 116°. I told him I would happily call VRBO. He already had called VRBO and I'm not sure what he said but they would not give him back all his money and kept $300 due to what he said to them. A bad experience for both of us.

Perfect stay minutes from the park!

Julia was so accommodating and the perfect host, we had the pleasure to met her and learn about her property, family and the area. Julia steered us in the right direction for dinner just down the road. We had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our kids loved the horse on property and walking down to the river to wade in the water after a long day in the park. Everything about our stay was positive! We would stay here again and recommend to our family and friends!

Perfect for Privacy
Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved our stay! It has a private jacuzzi and our little apartment/cottage had a full kitchen, which was nice. I loved the private beach for the property where the kids could swim in the river. That was one of our favorite parts!
It happened to be nearly 100 degrees when we stayed. The air conditioners did not work, so it was very, very hot. It was too hot to use the fire pit or jacuzzi, but they were available. I am not sure they advertised air or not, but that was the only hard part was at night when you are trying to sleep it was really hot. The other is that they do not have a pool. I think to be more accurate they just need to clarify no pool, but a private river-side beach which is WAY MORE AWESOME! My only other recommendation is to offer more notes on where to eat and things to do when you are not in the park. They had a brochure there for white water rafting and we did that, and it was SO FUN! I wanted more stuff like that :).
I will hope to be back if we go to that area again. Well worth it! Highly, highly recommend it to anyone! We hope to bring a group of friends so we can just rent the entire property for a weekend and do a big group thing. It's so perfect for that! You have just enough area that is private and a great shared space for small groups. Loved it!

Location, location, location
