Great hotel
Publié le 27 mai 2023 sur HotelsLovely large room with balcony overlooking the beach. Delicious healthy food. Breakfast great. Staff organised pick up /back to Male. Local ferry worth checking out instead of motor boat. A lot of cats at the hotel if you like cats. Great place for surfers.

Bad water, not the greatest bathroom, no WiFi , kind short tempered staff, noisy water pump all night
Otherwise great food , very good location

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience on the wifi, but we are on an island and these problems can happen
( in big city also), like sometimes the smell of the water given by the proximity to ocean

Publié le 21 nov. 2021 sur HotelsWir würden das Canopus absolut empfehlen: Tolle, riesige Zimmer mit Meerblick, super Lage in Thulusdhoo, schöner Strand, süße Katzen und Giovanni + Barbara waren mit ihrem Team waren immer sehr hilfsbereit und tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und denken, dass es keine bessere Unterkunft in Thulusdhoo gibt.

Hotel is located just in front of the beach, very close to cocks surf break. We had a beautiful ocean view. Personnel was friendly.
Room is nice but no TV and towels and bed sheets were yellowish with some stains. Also showerhead requires replacement, water was barely running. We had to remove it to be able to take the shower.
Also one morning we noticed some bites all around the body. Looked like bed bugs. So we changed the room and after that it was ok. However there are a lot of insects in the hotel and sometimes they come into the room.

A must stay in Thulusdhoo
