Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great experience! The view is absolutely stunning. You can watch the sunrise from the porch and the main sitting area. All rooms have a private bathroom except the 2 upstairs share a big bathroom (which works great). We had everything we need! Lorraine is wonderful with her help and communication! Always willing to answer questions! Town is fun for kids and adults! And there is supermarket with all the necessities in town
The only thing I would say, if you are coming with older parents, the outdoor porch stairs although not many have no railing (I wish they do)

Thank you so much for your kind words, we are so pleased your family had a wonderful reunion in this special part of the world. We always go out our way to do everything we can to make sure our guests have the best time possible.
When we refurbished the Hollies we did it specifically with the aim that families of all ages would be able to come together and that is why we added a downstairs ensuite bedroom - just in case any older family members struggled with mobility. There is access at the back door with no stairs but we are always aiming to make sure the Hollies is the best it can be and we will take your comments on board and check if a railing can be added.

Amazing place in every way
Publié le 18 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayI booked The Hollies as a place to celebrate my birthday with family. It was everything and more than I could have asked for. The location, interior design, quality of everything in the hours and the garden were top class. This house has been so well designed and has created the most relaxing environment as well as providing entertainment for all. I booked the owner of local restaurant for the Saturday night and she cooked 5 star dinner for us at the house. We also used the Big Green Egg on the Sunday and sat outside around the fire pit listening to my brother on guitar. The view from the garden is so beautiful. For me…… The Holllies has it all. Thank you Graeme, Lorraine and team who pulled it al together.
