Words and pictures hardly do this gorgeous home justice. Pristine furnishings, beachy decor, and updated kitchen bring a sense of elegance and are beautifully enhanced by the bright walls and large windows. Enjoy breathtaking views of the dramatic coastline and gorgeous sunsets from this five-star home.

Take a seat on the large comfortable sofa and relax by the fire, enjoy the flatscreen TV, or just take in the stunning ocean views from the large windows. Cable and WiFi are included here so you can still watch the morning news or easily look up directions to a nearby restaurant.
Prepping meals is a dream in this gorgeous kitchen complete with updated appliances, crisp white cabinets, and smooth quartz countertops. There's no need to leave the house for meals when you have everything you need to create delicious meals right at home! Also included are a microwave and plenty of cookware and dishes.

There is a full bathroom on the main floor and for your convenience, there is a half bathroom near the entry and also a stacking washer and dryer. So feel free to pack light and have peace of mind that you'll always have clean clothes for the next day's activities.

Wake up to stunning bay views from the bedroom on the main floor. Relax in a comfortable queen size bed and enjoy some privacy by closing off the room with custom made barn doors. Upstairs is another bedroom with a queen-size bed. The angled skylights will allow you to enjoy bay and ocean views as well as see the stars at night as you fall asleep. Both are high quality mattresses wrapped in luxurious linens for a dreamy night’s sleep. This house can comfortably sleep 4 adults.

Between beachcombing, hiking, birdwatching, crabbing, and looking for clams, you can all stay happily occupied, but there's definitely much more to see if you do feel like exploring a little farther out. Fishing charters, more hiking trails, kayaking and much more can be found within 20 minutes of the house. And don't miss out on taking a tour and sampling amazing cheeses at the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

Whether you unwind by the fire pit in the back overlooking the nearly private beach, take long walks with the ocean lapping at your feet, or enjoy a movie on the large flatscreen TV, the Saltair Cottage gives you all the relaxation and rejuvenation you need from a vacation.

A little slice of heaven
We had a wonderful stay in this cute little house by the ocean. It is literally steps away from the sand - any closer and you'd be a boat! The views were amazing. We enjoyed watching the pelicans from the deck. The house was sparkly clean and in pristine condition. The kitchen had everything we needed. They had even laid out a fire for us in the fire pit, where we enjoyed some s'mores. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave. Can't wait to come back!

Just amazing place for our young kids and us. We also had a few other family members. The view and location was really stand out! Beach access was amazing and the beach is one of the best I’ve been on and I’ve traveled a lot of places in the world.

Exactly what we were looking for
It looks just as advertised and ended up being the perfect spot for my mother, daughter and I to spend a few days. We wanted something cozy on/near the water, just in case the weather kept us indoors, so we could still enjoy a view… and this did not disappoint! It’s very well stocked with just about everything you’d need, the beds were comfortable and communication was great. We hope to come back again soon!

Absolutely lovely property and a perfect location for a family of four!
This property is exactly as listed. It sits right on the bay in Netarts. Also a very short walk over to the actual beach. The bay allows for lots of exploring in the water without fear of the currents and waves for our kids. The house itself was perfect for a family of four with slightly older children. Incredibly clean and well stocked with unbelievable views. We typically don’t go back to vacation homes more than once, but we will definitely be back to this one! Highly recommended!

If you're looking for a nice relaxing escape....this place is it! Everything you need is included. All the souls we encountered in the area were friendly and welcoming, beach access right out front as well......Not cheap, but well worth the price!!

2nd time here and it was just as fabulous!
This is the idyllic weekend getaway. Beautiful house, well-appointed and flawlessly cleaned. Sarah from Shore Thing rentals was incredibly helpful. She sent detailed check in instructions, texted me to make sure I had the check in information and was available for any issues (there were none). I will definitely stay here again…and again. The beach was empty and full of seashells and sand dollars. We played games, had a fire in the fireplace (thanks for providing wood and instructions)! Easy driving distance to beach towns and the cheese factory. The beds were really comfortable with soft bedding and you can stargaze while laying down in the upstairs bedroom. Amazing!

Delightfully Cozy and Comfortable
We loved this place from the moment we opened the front door. Perfect for 2 seniors. Decor and layout ideal for this siz cottage right on the beach. Very well equipped and from reading the guest book everyone else was just as enamored as we were. Had a fire every evening. Small convenience store nearby. Tried out both the very close restaurants and enjoyed a tour of the Tillamook creamery. Just to advise there are no closets and only one full bath downstairs.

I invited my parents to visit from Texas and I wanted them to experience the Oregon beach. This was an AMAZING place to stay. It is right on the beach and the house is so calming and nice. My 2 year old came with us and we all had an amazing time.

Saltair exceeded expectations
This home is one of the best VRBO properties we’ve stayed in. Communication with Sarah at Shoreline was prompt and informative. The location was very central to key sights in north central Oregon coast. View from property was amazing and had great access to the beach. We enjoyed watching the clammers on the early morning, walking on the beach and watching sunsets at night. Saltair was extremely clean, tastefully decorated with a well appointed kitchen and very comfortable beds. Highly recommend and look forward to returning

Perfect in every way!
What a perfect setting to celebrate my husband‘s 70th birthday! It was truly one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. It was both cozy and well decorated; exactly as the pictures reflect. The upstairs room was a great place to read. The views are amazing and beach access just steps from the back door. It was so nice to have an actual wood burning fireplace (note: they give you enough for a one fire so fortunately we brought some with us but if you don’t bring some, there is a place nearby to purchase some). My only recommendation would be to consider replacing the couch; it might be okay for most people but was way too soft for us. Communications were exceptional with replies almost immediate! We were sad to leave!
