Great Spot
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I went down for a couple of days crabbing, it was the perfect spot. Great view, clean, plenty of extra supplies, great bed. Even talking to Bill who was remodeling the house behind was fun. Will go again next year. Tim & Joyce, Deer Island, OR

Small but met our needs. Owner needs to supply a blanket. Had plenty of sheets and towels but no blankets. Other than that kitchen was well stocked. Nice to have a washer and dryer.

Therapy week
Publié le 7 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayI stayed in the lower apt. with Boone, Ruby and Porter. Retro Retreat is very cozy and comfortable. The Kitchen is well stocked. The view is beautiful. The only negative is you can hear the people in the above unit moving around. This was not a big deal as they were pretty quiet. I was more concerned about my dogs disturbing them. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice cozy stay, no easy beach access
Publié le 18 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a nice time staying here- very cozy getaway for my husband and I. Tv was great and heaters worked well. VERY hot water! A couple things to be aware of that I didn’t realize from the listing- the close water access from the house is to a boat dock on the bay. Great if you want to go crabbing! But to get to the regular beach is a 10-15 minute walk, and you need to go back to the highway then turn down another road. We were also asked a sign a third party waiver which was fine, but I always prefer to know about that before booking a listing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay :-) I am so sorry you missed the beach access at the end of the road. It is less than a 5 minute walk and you get to the beach that is along Netarts Bay and if you walk about 10 minutes North on the beach, you will get to the ocean beach. We will make sure that is noted at the house from now on. Thank you so much for coming and I hope we get to have you back!

TV needs work/replacing
Publié le 28 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe have one complaint. The TV was nearly impossible to use. There are 5 different remotes and the instructions about how to use any of them don’t match the remotes. We just wanted to look at some news a couple times and we couldn’t even get the TV to come on, There was no channel guide to find anything. We called the host who came over and got the TV to come on finally but then there was no MSNBC news channel - only strange choices. The TV situation was very frustrating for us.
