Mom’s getaway
Posted Jan. 4, 2025 on HomeAwayI went with a mom friend for a couple days just to take a break. My friend decided last min to bring her pup and it was so easy to communicate with the owner, super easy to get in and out. The stairs up are something so be ready to get your steps in, and it’s literally a 2 min walk to the beach. Great view of the water. It was exactly what was needed.

Needs a Deep Cleaning!
Posted Sep. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayWe have stayed at multiple houses in Oceanside. I have always wanted to stay at this bungalow. When I saw it was available for our trip, I booked it right away. As soon as we entered the house, we noticed the floors and couches were covered in dog and human hair. The dishes had food stuck to it. Had to re wash all the dishes we used out of the cabinet. Don’t look in the crack between the stove and small cabinet. There was so much food, dust, and hair it was disgusting. I received a text message asking if the cleaning met our expectations. They stated they would have the local property manager contact me. Heard nothing. After completing my check out tasks, starting the sheets, I noticed there is a deep cleaning check list that has last completed dates in 2021.

Beautiful Views
Posted Jul. 27, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time with our short one night stay. The sunset over the beach was fantastic and falling asleep to the ocean sound and waking up to a beautiful view of the ocean and rocks was amazing. Great place!

Just OK
Posted Mar. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayThe keypad door lock DOES NOT work. There is also NO CELL service in the town, therefore had to go to local restuarant to get a land line to call vacasa to get an alternative way to get in. This is NOT acceptable. I see that at least one other person had this experience too. The keypad needs to be changed or fixed. The place is cute and nice view however very rickety deck and overall this place is questionably safe other than for those with excellent judgement and mobility. I would not recommend for those with mobility issues or children. Even though it was lower on the pricepoint for the area, not sure it was worth the money. It was fine for the working weekend with my business partner, however for vacation I would have been disappointed.

Disappointing

I knew that the refund was not available
But
The modification that was offered at time of booking was denied by two Vacasa representatives

Not a great time
Posted Nov. 27, 2023 on HomeAwayWe knew from the prior reviews that this was going to be cozy, but it was definitely far smaller than expected. Like, not even enough room to get changed in a bedroom. Not even enough couch space for a family of 4. Dirty glasses, random holes in walls, cobwebs in the corners. Oh, and the railing that my wife grabbed onto and almost fell because it was loose. We ended up leaving after the first night for a hotel.

Peaceful time at the ocean to decompress
Posted Oct. 29, 2023 on HomeAwayWe needed to get away, unplug, and just enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Oceanside was perfect. We enjoyed the sun and the storms that rolled in. The unit had internet, so we could stream if we wanted to. Cell service was spotty but we just turned on WiFi calling to make/receive calls and text msgs.The kitchen was cute and accomodating. We did not eat out much as we stopped at a grocery store in Tillamook before arriving in Oceanside. I would stay here again!
