Needs some improvements

The house smelled like either cigarette smoke or musty mildew and we couldn’t figure out which one. The main level bed is one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on and the pillows were like sleeping on pieces of paper. There was dog hair on everything. It was freezing and the portable heaters they provide have an auto shut off so we woke up freezing every morning. I can’t see us returning to this house.unless they did some serious renovations.

Great little cabin

Fantastic Location
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur first reaction upon seeing the property was that it was very shabby, but had amazing views. We decided to just get in the mindset of it being a beach cabin, and not expect luxury.
It seemed fairly clean until I went to turn down the bed sheets and found chunky black filth between the top and bottom sheets. Fortunately, there was an extra set of sheets, but it’s not fun changing sheets while on vacation!
Having said all that, the views were wonderful, and the location was great for exploring the Oregon coast.

Quick 24 hour Get Away

Great location - A little rundown
Publié le 12 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is a cute cottage right on the beach. Beautiful location. The place, however, is a little more rundown than the pictures portray it. The kitchen cabinets and kitchen table are pretty worn and scratched up. There is a steep, narrow stairway to the bedrooms above (not shown in the pictures), with most of the wallpaper peeling off. I was a little disappointed in the overall quality of the home. But, the back deck and being right on the beach was great.

Adorable house, great view
Publié le 29 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at this adorable, easy to find home. The view was fantastic with easy access directly to the beach. The sunsets were spectacular. We appreciate that we were able to bring our dog. The check in process was easy and the home was stocked with lots of extra sheets, towels, games, basic kitchen supplies. Very relaxing and quiet, just what we were looking for!
