Publié le 3 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a very comfortable house for a large family - with a spacious garden and well appointed rooms. In The kitchen was well equipped for mass catering, and the views from the north facing were stunning and uninterrupted. .
The property managers were most helpful which allowed our stay to be so enjoyable.

Hi Nick, sorry if you had issues with slow internet. We have Sky TV and the Netflix goes through that so works well. Not sure about all mobile data providers but on Vodafone and ID mobile you get a couple of bars and decent 4g download speeds.

wonderful location for a holoday with friends

Outstanding views from the terrace, enough space for all our cars and a perfect location for the village and castle. Very spacious interior, the bar was very popular! The coastal path was nearby, ideal as a base for walking. Communication and advice from the hosts was much appreciated, we felt very welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit the area, to book this marvellous property.

Birthday celebration
Publié le 13 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was fantastic great location and views . The bar area was brilliant for us all to socialize as was kitchen. Great en suite rooms for all. The downside was house was very dusty and no welcome pack. I think the carpets need replacing as there a little worn or stained in certain areas . All that said we had a great stay and would certainly visit again.

We are really happy to know you had a great stay and will come back.
Sorry about the dust, we just sanded down the bar top and painted some walls. We did clean everything but the dust was in the air and continued to settle after our clean.
Some of the carpets are being replaced shortly.

A memorable Family holiday
Publié le 3 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayThis must be one of our best family holidays. The house was brilliant with all the necessities and the scenery was just amazing. Our memorable moments have to be the amazing scenic nature walks we did at sunrise and at sunset with the whole family.

Long weekend at The Avalon
Publié le 3 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at The Avalon for a family get away for 3 nights. The property is beautiful. It had lots of space for all 16 of us. The only suggestion I would make is to put another comfy sofa in the bar area so larger groups can comfortably relax in the space in the evenings. Just a suggestion.
Communication with the owners was great from when we made the booking till we left. I would definitely recommend staying in the property.

Publié le 30 août 2021 sur HomeAwayFantastic week in Tintagel. Wonderful house with amazing views. The house was spotlessly clean with plenty of room for 16 adults and older teens.
Location is perfect for costal walks from the door. Short drive to beaches and walking distance to cafes, shops and pubs.
We were also blessed with perfect weather.
Wish we could have stayed another week.
