Relaxing on the lake

Thank you so much for the great review. Our cleaning service has been with us since the beginning and really do a great job. We try to provide as many amenities as we can think of and are happy you enjoyed fishing on the lake.

Fishing was great

Alot of abandon properties, and other properties that were not well cared for. Amenities were somewhat outdated and showed wear. Never found all the parts for fish finder. But we had fun and and relaxed

Patricia, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm not sure what you meant by "amenities showed wear and tear". Do you mean the basement gameroom? The kayaks? the new 55 inchUHD TV? The fire wood? Fire pit? Or did you mean the community amenties? If so, the pool was just put in last year. I wish you wouldv'e been more specific. As for the fish finder...The more amenities you have, the harder it is to keep track of all of them. As for the neighborhood... when we bought the house twelve years ago it was in foreclosure. Many of the homes are being bought and fixed up as ours was. Thanks for taking the time to review our vacation home. We hope your stay at your next rental is a more pleasant experience.

Eric, we are so please you and your family enjoyed your stay. The kayaks. Peddle, and row boat with trolling motor are always a big hit with our guests. The kitchen counter tops, though fully functional but perhaps a bit dated are on the list to be replaced in the near future. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for choosing us.

Week Long Family Vacation

Perfect getaway!
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis lake house was hands down THE best property I've ever vacationed at in the Poconos. I've been renting homes in the Poconos for the past 20 years and have never stayed in the same one twice; however, this will be the first home we will be returing to again. Nick and Jill were amazing hosts, VERY attentive, thoughtful, and accomodating. The house was clean, spacious, and stocked with anything we needed.
The basement has lots of fun things to do-the kids loved it. My teenage daughters spent lots of time sitting on the dock, fishing, and chilling in the hammock. Fishing was hit or miss, but that's why they call it fishing, not catching. The floating dock was great to fish from and the beach access was perfect for the kayaks. Speaking of water vessels, the rowboat with the motor (we didn't use, but loved having the option), the multiple kayaks available (we brough our own), and the peddle boat were all fantastic amenities of the house.
Most appreciated were the pet accomodations: the deck on the back of the house had a sliding gate that safely contained our 2-1/2 year old Great Dane puppy who would sit on the deck for hours watching the many deer that visited the property.
We will certainly be back again next year, if not sooner!!

A Piece Of Peace
Publié le 11 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was such a relaxing weekend away from the city…it rained the whole weekend but we still enjoyed every minute of it together in this house there was games, movies & the fireplace was a plus, the coziness of it was everything my daughter wanted for her birthday. My kids are already asking to go back for the summer.

Cute house, great view

However, we’ve had people tell us how comfortable they are and some have even told us they are too soft so it’s really hard to please everyone since everyone has different preferences.
