Tofino Thanksgiving
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our second year back to this home for our annual October trip and it was as great as the last time! Can't beat being on the beach and enjoying the hot tub after a day playing outside. Thank you again for allowing us to have a very memorable weekend!

Surf Sisters
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy group of friends have been staying on Chesterman Beach for over a decade for one weekend each spring. We love adventuring into the surf as well as running/walking on the beach. We love the ocean front property as we come for the beach!

Publié le 11 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home is just amazing! We loved how it was laid out and all the natural light, and of course the spectacular views!! Views from nearly every room, even the kitchen. A pleasure to stand there and prepare the food! Tons of space for moving around and putting things. So much space we didn't know what to do with it all. (3 adults). My mom could even move around with her walker.
I like that it isn't open plan so if some people want to sleep in they are not disturbed by those who get up early.
The master bedroom is stunning and the bathroom a joy to use. The beds and furniture were comfortable too.
The downsides were minor: An awkward door to get out to the deck. (However, this ensured that the view was unimpeded!). No tables or chairs on the deck. (We did put some out there). A low bed in the lower bedroom which was a problem for my elderly mom. The biggest downside was having to strip the beds and start a load of laundry on our last day combined with a 10am checkout and hefty cleaning fee. This had our last minutes being used for housework rather than being able to soak in the view for the last time. Apparently this is standard practice but it didn't sit well with us.
This home is just perfect for a stay at our favourite beach. We honestly couldn't find a way to make it better. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to families, or groups of friends who want to stay together but like their own space too!

Amazing beachfront location

Location, Location, Location
Publié le 27 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWalking in towards the back of the home you are welcomed with the beach and ocean. Nothing beats walking right out to the water without having to drive and look for parking. The hot tub and the lovely little deck were great for people/dog watching and catching the sun set. Definitely recommend!

Comfort on Chesterman Beach
Publié le 14 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe spent a lovely week enjoying the dramatic view of Chesterman Beach from the Tofino Beach Oasis. Walking out the door and down the short path past the fire pit to enjoy an early morning walk on Chesterman Beach with other early walkers, walkers with dogs, all while enjoying watching the waves and surfers before breakfast was a real treat. Then more beach walking or enjoying the Pacific Rim trails and beaches made for a special week. Donna's place is clean and comfortable. The bed allowed for a refreshing night's sleep, the kitchen allowed us to cook our favorite meals from quesadillas and tuna melt to coq au vin and breakfast burritos. The TV has a large, sharp, and bright picture. The hot tub was warm and relaxing after a day's walking. Tofino Beach Oasis was a fine place for a relaxing holiday week.

Lovely week on South Chesterman
