Hello Stefanie, I am deeply sorry to read your review as this is certainly not how we want are guest to feel after staying with us. This property has close to a 5 star rating on both Airbnb and VRBO( until now:-( so although a few issues did arise we do not feel that this property is deserving of a 2 stars. Thank you for letting us know about the faucet handle popping off. We had requested to send maintenance to repair that but you explained that was not necessary as you could mange with it as is. We are deeply sorry again and please note the issue has been fixed. This home is an older home with many recent updates and is enjoyed by many families so wear and tear can happen in between guests and we always do out best to repair/improve issues as they arise. To touch on a few notes from your review, the Wifi is the best you can get through TELUS and we normally do not have an issues an were unaware that you did but usually a quick reset of the modem can help improve any issues. The listing explains that the homeowner provides one bundle of complimentary wood but we do leave it up to our guest to purchase additional wood. If cords of wood were the amount you mentioned then many homeowners would definitely cover the cost but the cost is actually almost four times that amount. We think it is a great suggestion though. I had a look at your pricing and you paid our low season pricing( $300-$450) plus taxes and cleaning for a 2 BDR home(sleeps 4), walking distance to Chesterman beach, private outdoor shower, hot tub and firepit. We are happy to hear you appreciated the high end linens and towels we invest in, in addition to luxury soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body washes, complimentary propane for BBQ and pizza oven, fully stocked kitchen with a oil, sugar, saranwrap and tinfoil. We want our guest to feel the value that comes with a home in comparison to what you would get from a hotel. We are sorry to hear you did not feel this and appreciate the review but do not agree with your rating for this property.
