Nice, but not so clean

I booked the place for my fiancée and myself and her dog. I’m multiple places it was advertised as “dog friendly “ including on the page which listed free amenities such as breakfast and the pool. No where on the Expedia listing did it mention an extra fee or that you needed to call ahead (yes even in the fine print, in the policies and the links within links.) Not only did they proceed to charge us an animal fee ($25/night) but they doubled that fee since all they had left were “non animal” rooms. If they would have kept insisting that it was on the website (which it isn’t) and just said “oh ya I see we should get that fixed” it would t have been nearly so irritating.

Hotel is getting a little outdated. Stuff peeling off around toilet and rust in the bathtub. Behind bathroom door was still kind of dirty. Hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. But the lady at front desk who checked us in and out was super friendly and helpful.

The hotel was great as far as comfort, cleanliness, and location. It was a premium price for what was offered as far as amenities.
