Tokaanu public hot pools just a short walk away, plus the Lodge has its own hot pools. Turangi a very short drive away with supermarket and plenty of restaurants. Conveniently placed to visit Tongariro National Park. The manager was very understanding when we cut short our stay due to poor weather and only charged us for the days we were there. The room was clean and well fitted out, if a little dated in style.

Great location, enjoyed the pools. Shame the hesting makes the upstairs so hot and the lower floor freezing.

It was comfortable and clean, but the bathroom needs an upgrade. The hotpools were very disappointing, they are dark and dreary and definitely need to be upgraded.

We like the quietness of this place. The owner were very friendly we came in late at around 8pm ish.. very accomodative
Lots of things to do around Tokaanu a short drive to Tokaanu whalf for a walk with beautuful scenery. We enjoyed the swumming at the lake on a good spot of Tongariro.
We would definitely return ti Tokaanu😍

Yes, decor is tired, but the place was clean, had 2 separate bedrooms, and the owners were just lovely.

Sheryl and Sarah were awesome! Location is perfect especially if you’re outdoorsy. Just loved everything about our stay.

Perfect for families with children

Very family friendly with play equipment, on-site hot water and mineral pools and animals for young ones to enjoy. Very reasonably priced, clean, flexible accommodation options for families to enjoy.

Very suitable for family gatherings that include small children. Close to hiring services for skiing etc
