Very close to the historic Sumo Hall, Ryogoku Station, and a variety of different dining options within walking distance. Hotel had very good staff and cleaning staff, they were polite and did their job. Hotel overall was clean, spacious, and had many services and amenities. I do wish there was a bit more space in the area waiting for elevators on the main floor. It gets crowded when groups come in and block up the area, almost impossible for those getting off or on. There should be signs telling those waiting for elevators to allow those getting off at that floor to leave the elevator first, there were a few times some female foreign tourists would just barge in. They should understand the etiquette is the same as the public transit, help them get accustomed to the local culture, to allow people to get off first before barging in. Not a major deal, but can go along way to help. Overall great place to stay. Suited me perfectly.

Great place to stay with easy access to transportation. Reception were very respectful and easy to talk to in all regards. Shipping luggage was easy and you are able to delay the delivery if needed which was great to see!

I always stay at APA hotels. Theyre the perfect balance of price and quality. Most of them are near train stations that make it super convenient for tourism. Try to find ones with spa's, its such a nice experience.

Accommodations were generally comfortable but there are some things that could be improved such as carded access to the stairways to bypass the busy elevators. Also, the thermostat function in each room has no effect whatsoever on the temperature. You basically only have a choice between the central heating/ac or nothing at all.

The room is quite narrow for the price that we have paid. But then again, prices are quite typical for a decent hotel in the Tokyo area. The shower was decent, albeit slightly cramped, which is standard across shower rooms in Japanese hotels. One of the only few minor gripes that I have is that I was unable to adjust the cooling/heating/fan only mode on the climate control panel.
