We had a wonderful stay! Our room was very spacious and clean. The hotel is quite modern and about a 5-10 minute walk to the subway (depending on which station you go to) which was very convenient. Beautiful view of the water and the staff was extremely kind!

Nice size rooms for Japan and a great shower and bath room. Full service bar and restaurant in the loby is very nice as well. Higher floors are better for less highway noise.

Hotel staff were lovely - so nice and were able to accommodate our needs. The hotel was clean and spacious, it is near many unique tourist attractions and close to the train station which was less than a 5 minute walk. Tons of delicious eateries nearby.

The Gate Hotel is very modern and sleek. I love the clean smell as you walk through the doors. Staff is very friendly and professional. I liked that they spoke English well as it made it easy to communicate. This is our second time staying here and it is definitely our hotel of choice when we come to Ryugoku.

I really loved my stay with the Gate Hotel. We were greeted by the staff who were extremely warm to us & attentive to what we needed.
The rooms were bigger than expected and the beds were comfortable. I also loved that it is conveniently located near a convenience store and at a quiet area. Overall loved my stay & would come back soon !
