I can't say enough about our stay. The Mathis house is beautiful. The staff is welcoming, friendly and accomodating. Rooms were well appointed,clean and comfortable. It is a 5 star experience. Breakfast was amazing!

This B&B was very nice with a comfortable setting as there are only 4 rooms available to rent. When we arrived at the B&B, there was a baby shower in the late afternoon and another shower on the following day. Check in was very informal with one of the assistants providing the needed information along with the room key (yes, an actual key). The breakfasts that were served were very good.
One comment that we had was that we felt the owner of the B&B should have been a little more interactive in meeting the guests (i.e., asking the guests the five w's and one h).
Also, the bedroom window had a moon shaped top to it that needed covering as there was an outside light that beamed into the window. A suggestion was conveyed to the owner.

Dominic,Thank you for your feed back and appreciated. This week was exciting for the Mathis House as we are opening a new bed and breakfast a block away. I am so sorry, I have been involved with the addition of this project. Good news, I do have great staff and the house as been very good with the hospitality end of interacting with the guests as I fine tune the addition of another B&B. We have always loved our stays at this historic location, an easy drive to the beach. The breakfast is always amazing!

I was glad my wife came with me because I couldn't adequately explain it & she was thilled.
Vicky was wonderful & made a great dinner ecommendation!
