This house is exactly why you love VRBO! This fully remodeled home has four bedrooms and three FULL bathrooms; two of which are large, en suite bathrooms. This house is less than 20 years old with a modern, desirable layout and floor plan. A smart TV is neatly hung without cords in every bedroom, not to mention a large smart TV in each of the two living spaces! Cook a meal in our open kitchen adorned wirh quartz countertops without missing any of the conversation at the dining table or living room entertainment. Our place is fur baby friendly with a fenced in backyard and is also wheelchair compliant with a ramp right up to the door! We offer deep discounts for weekly and monthly stays. Thank you.

Don't even spend your time looking elsewhere in Topeka
Amazing stay and our best vacation home we've ever stayed in as a family. Clean, spacious, cozy, inviting, and like you never left home. They really did think of everything with this place. The layout is awesome, with bedroom right off the kitchen with en suite bathroom, 2 other bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom right around the corner from 1 of those bedrooms. Then there is another bedroom downstairs with an adjoining bathroom. Our family of 6 had plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable to sleep on. To top it off, there is a spacious lounge sofa downstairs in what I'd call a movie room with an entertainment area around the corner, featuring 2 arcades and basketball hoop my kids couldn't get enough of. Even Mom and Dad joined in on the fun, and it was a great evening compared to staying in a boring hotel. Also, any questions we had regarding our stay, we were met quickly with friendly helpful replies. 10 out of 10 on this place. Will definitely book here again if and when we come back to Topeka. :-)

Fabulous property to accommodate a large group.
Wonderful for our group of 7 adults. We stayed one night, in town for the Bonamassa concert. We would not hesitate to rent King’s Cottage again. 2 ensuites: 1 upstairs & 1 in basement. 2 other bedrooms on main floor & a 3rd full bath. All beds were comfortably firm and inviting. All furnished with good quality side tables, dressers, & bedframes/headboards. Stocked kitchen: cooking pans, utensils, dishware. Condiments and spices in a cabinet. We used the Keurig coffee maker & the provided coffee pods. Refrig has a working ice maker, a plus! for us. There is a small dining table with 4 padded chairs. An Alexa-powered security system audibly alerts when anyone comes in proximity to the doors of the house, as well as plays music on command. There are ample cordless phone chargers placed throughout. Main floor living area has 4 comfortable recliners (two couches). The basement living area has a long couch& chaise. The basement also has free old-time video games (Ms. Pac Man!) and basketball. The basement also has two washers, two dryers, another small refrigerator, & a sink with countertop. The garage “man-cave” has a pool table & mini-fridge. The back yard wood deck, sturdy wheelchair ramp & concrete patio look almost brand new. A sail-shade is stretched over the patio lounging area. Flickering lights surround the patio area. The weather was beautiful and we sat outside in the patio furniture, talking after the concert. We highly recommend this vrbo to anyone.

Our favorite property
My husband, two friends and myself have all come to love this property. We were in town for an event. This is our second stay and we love this location. It is clean and comfortable and we love the time we have together here. We noticed a new addition of notes of instruction for the thermosthat, the bluetooth speaker and such. My friend that is older and a bit unsteady on her feet wanted me to talk about how the shower has a slip resistant surface and she's grateful. The seasonings by the oven are a nice touch! We will be back for our next event, absolutely!

This home was even better in person than in photos! It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully outfitted with everything our family needed. There were lots of “smart” features in the home that added to the convenience. And the kids loved the game room in the basement!

Our stay at the lake was amazing! The local person managing the house went above and beyond for us, showing up early to clean so we could check in ahead of schedule. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay truly enjoyable. The lake views were stunning, and the amenities provided exceeded our expectations.
