don't let the pictures fool you. if you book on expedia you apparently book a "cheap room" which is not in the main hotel that is in the pictures; it is in seperate building with exterior doors. the room smelled horrible and the heater didn't work. it was 38 degrees outside and the room was freezing cold. One of the front desk guys came and pushed some buttons but it wouldn't work. Finally they did move us to the main building but it was an ordeal. Then AJ at the desk was an arrogant jerk after moving us he starts laughing and yells "are you happy now?" I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here.

It was ok....
Check in was fine, but my room keys kept not working. I had to get new room keys on three different occasions inside 24 hours. Room was ok, but had a bit of a smoker smell and as someone with asthma, that wasn't awesome. Not enough to flare anything up with myself, but others who are worse off than me would probably have had a issue. Breakfast was an average with eggs, sausage and available carb options. Location was great, price was right. Would I stay here again? Coin toss at best.

Checked in with 2 small dogs and staff assigns us an outside room on the 2nd floor, not very convenient when you need to take your dogs out every few hours. On the 2nd night, people were walking in and out and across the balcony at all hours of the night. This was no fault of the property themselves but ended up leaving at 5am due to not being able to sleep. Overall, location was great and hotel itself was clean and great.

There were stains on the floor and sitting chair. I had to reprogram the clock because it was off by four hours. I also had to reprogram the tv remote control because it wasn’t even paired to it. One of the mattresses had a large stain on it that was questionable. Fortunately, I opted not to sleep on that bed before I saw the stain.

The hotel is very dated. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower drain was not draining properly which was an issue. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We were there 2 nights. After we checked in, we never saw a staff person. The front desk was always vacant. Never saw a breakfast attendant. Room was quiet, but nothing special. Was very expensive because of KU football game.

What a dump. We got stuck in the “other building “ which appears to be a poorly renovated motel. The sheets were dirty and the white comforter appeared to have a large urine stain. Carpet was dirty and It was very difficult to understand what the staff at the front desk were saying. DO NOT STAY HERE!
