The Room was huge and we'll equipped. Lots of space for luggage etx. The Lakeview is incredible , it's very peaceful and relaxing. The host Lee is super kind and helpful and the meals for breakfast was very fulling and tasty.
Highly recommend this property.

Quiet waterfront location! Our hostess was so sweet and friendly and a wonderful cook to boot! Our room was spotless and very comfy, and we awoke to a lovely view of the lake which is practically in the backyard. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Quite B&B with delicious Oriental breakfast

In the morning we were treated to homemade pork dumplings and fresh cucumber and oranges - a wonderful treat. She only accepts cash. Highly recommended!

Good vacation by the lake
Publié le 23 août 2017 sur ExpediaNice and quiet lakefront place to relax. Close to markets and restaraunt. Toronto is not too far also. Owner is very nice person. Delicious Asian cooking every morning. I like the house too. Kayak and pedal boat available, I had good time on fishing and caught few good size carps. We enjoyed our dinner cooking on fire right in front of the lake. Great vacation!!!!

Emplacement : Beach, fishing, boat riding. Toronto is only 40 minutes away.
Excellent location, good service! The owner is very pleasant. Delicious breakfast every day, variety of boats on premises! Pleased with our stay!

Great bed and breakfast by the lake!

Emplacement : Lake activities: kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking.
The bed and breakfast is located by a beautiful lake. There were a lot of recreational activities provided for us during our stay. There is a two-person canoe and one person kayak. It was very peaceful to kayak out into the middle of the lake, while watching a family of geese pass by. There are also walking trails nearby the house. One suggestion is to bring insect repellent or ask the owner to borrow some if you visit in the summer.
All of the rooms have large windows that look out into the lake. The bed was also very comfortable. Usually, I have difficulty sleeping in a new place, but I fell asleep easily here. The bedroom I staid in included two sitting chairs, a laundry machine, and two closets. Overall, the room felt comfortable and spacious.
The breakfast was delicious and artistically arranged--you could tell the owner put a lot of care in preparing the food. Also, as somebody who is conscious about her diet, I found the breakfast well-balanced. In addition, the dining room is in the second story of the house and includes large windows that face the lake. It was relaxing to eat my breakfast while looking out at the lake. The owner was also very helpful and hospitable. She was knowledgeable about the area and about how to kayak in the lake.

Pour : The location, the view, the big bed, home cooked food made with pride
Contre : Social areas could be a little less lived in by the family who owned the house and a little bit more open and welcoming to guests.
Emplacement : Great location next to North Lake, Aurora and nearby Newmarket. 45 minute bus or train into downtown Toronto, access to major highways.
Great location, amazing view. We stayed in winter and it was great to look over the frozen lake and watch people ice fishing. Within 2 minute drives to the shops and only 10 minutes away from a huge mall.
Delicious home made asian breakfast (such as Dumplings, Sushi, Egg Rolls) every morning was provided by a lovely host who made us feel very welcome.
Shared facilities were a little strained as it felt very much like staying at a relatives house rather than at an open bed and breakfast so we spent much of our time there in our room.
