Publié le 26 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt is very nice and was perfect for our needs. Adding a small washer dryer would be good. A heads up on the person living in the basement would have been nice. He is very nice and I enjoyed talking to him.The house needs updating though.

No one lives in the basement. I rent the basement out as a separate short term rental which I put in my property description. I do not advertise nor offer laundry for use in the home, if I did, I’d be charging a lot more per night to rent the space. Home was just repainted, stairs in home just redone, kitchen equipment less than 1 year old, kitchen appliances less than 3 months old. House is in good shape. Obviously, you just can’t please everyone.

Extremely nasty place to stay
Publié le 28 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayLet me start by saying that I have rented several houses on my various trips. This house is extremely unhygienic. Carpet is very dirty, mold in the bathroom. This should not be rented anymore in this condition. I have pictures to prove and am hoping to be able to attach them. Carpet is black and nasty that you don’t want to step on it. Hardwood has nasty spots as wel. Bathroom full
Of mold. No place to hang towels in the bathroom. Front door cannot be closed from inside. It is nothing like the pictures. No tv in bedrooms as shown in the pictures.
Please take a look at your house and remove the listing. It’s not in livable condition.

This guest asked me to stay in the home 3 hours after check out time and I denied the request. They in turn attempted to stay past checkout time anyway and then refused to leave, resulting in me having to contact the police for immediate removal. Due to this, they decided to write a negative review. None of what is stated is true. Unfortunately the platform will not remove the review.

Another guest upset because I charged them for the mess THEY made. This guest smoked inside my home, she also prostituted herself in my home with multiple men in and out all night. Condoms under the bed was from her own life choices. My cleaners do a fantastic and thorough job when cleaning my home and we have never had any issues in the past. This guest received an overall 1 star rating from me and several others for treating our homes like a party/prostitute location. DO NOT RENT TO THIS PERSON!!

Not very durable house needs to be redone. Rugs need to leave.

There was nothing wrong with my home during their stay. This guest is retaliating against me with a poor review because I charged them extra because they stained all of my towels, bed sheets and pillow cases with hair dye. This guest destroyed my linens and I had no choice but to replace them. As a result of me making them pay for it, they decided to write lies.

Pleasant stay

Family lives downstairs and is pretty loud at some times of day, but it didn't bother me since i also came from a large family with constant noise. Host is kind and responsive. Would stay there again.

NO ONE LIVES IN THE BASEMENT. We rent the basement out as a separate VRBO/Airbnb unit.
