I loved the safety of it. There is a 24h doorman who you can't get passed by without showing your ID (unless he recognizes you). The greeting upon arrival was fast and the flat was clean, practical, very comfortable and well designed. Perfect for a single traveller like me.

C’était une découverte satisfaisante pour une premiere fois. C’est un bon rapport qualité/prix meme si l’etat de la douche pourrait etre meilleur (saleté dans les coins) ainsi que plusieurs murs blancs avec des traces de valises.

Had unit 2717 for the week for work and was just great. View from bedroom was amazing. Most responsive.

False advertising

We had booked a Presidential Suite. On the Hotels.com app, the pictures showed a luxury suite with high-end amenities. It showed 2 separate bedrooms with a nice view. The suite that we got was a very cheap version of it. It can only be described as a student apartment with holes on the walls, dirty floors and cheap finishes. The "second bedroom" was actually a bed in the living room with a glass wall around it. No privacy, uncomfortable. This is total false advertising. I reached out to the management who claimed that this is also a Presidential Suite (which is true and listed as such on their website) and that the nice ones "were unavailable". I inquired about some sort of compensation with no response and the team ignored all subsequent messages from me. I reached out to the manager Pablo Martinez on the Hotels.com app and did not receive any response. No other contact is available to communicate with. We are looking forward to going back to Toronto but we will not stay at the Avalon Suites with this experience (mainly the total lack of ability to engage in a conversation from the management).
