Good for Early Risers
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HotelsThis is a great place to stay for the views and the locality. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach just across the road/dunes. You need to be an early riser as the car and foot traffic are quite noisy after 6:30am. Nothing that double glazed windows couldn't solve. Agents are easy to get along with and the unit is comfortable. Couldn't get Netflix to work so I don't know if that was a internet speed issue.

Perfect location for a short stay near the ocean side. Very close to the beach and walking distance to the local town. Only downside is the noise from the busy road, but other than that, it was a very comfortable stay.

Very clean - immaculate. Very quiet at night.
On arrival found the refrigerator was only barely cool inside and the freezer needed defrosting - it was completely clogged with ice, obviously not defrosted in a long, long time. We rang the property manager, who very quickly arrived with an eskie and ice - which helped, but the frozen items we brought had to be consumed immediately or thrown out.
Very nice location. You can't actually see the beach or the ocean from this unit - but we were more concerned about being able to get to the beach rather than viewing from the unit.

Hi we love that we can offer a unique stay on The Esplanade in beautiful Torquay.
Our sincere apologies that the freezer defrosting was over looked, as you can imagine we have been extremely busy since Christmas and it was an oversight on our behalf. Its no excuse of course but unfortunately it happened and again our apologies.
We do hope to be able to welcome you back to Torquay again in the future.
