When i arrived there was no one on reception. I hung aroung waiting no message to say if anyone would be back, eventually i got the bar man to check me in. The room was comfortable and had everything that was needed for my stay,. In the morning i had a shower the side glass leaked so floor was soaked and even after running for about 25 minutes water was only Luke warm, i reported this to reception was advised to try other times of day and or to run sink tap at same time, neither of these methods worked so not hot shower during my stay. Other than that would happly stay here again, is clearly a coaching hotel... breakfastcwas very nice hot food and good service, friendly staff!

Trecarn was anice hotel in its day, sadly in need of renovation, however ground floor windows have been recently replaced with new double glazed windows. Price is cheap, however the heating is rarely on, need to get mobile oil heater to warm up room. good resturant and choice of meals. Lift is tempermental, rarely worked over last two/three years, however at last visit I was told that they have spend quite a bit of money on repairing lift and they hope it is fixed now. A cheap hotel for overnight stay

Had a fantastic stay only booked for one night but ended up staying for 2nights couldnt fault it staff are friendly everything we needed breakfast was beautiful well recommend staying here rooms are basic but they have everything you need

This was good value. It's old style (but not ancient), well enough maintained. A fan or tumble drier was on most of the night, not especially loud, but you could hear it somewhere. Close to Babbacombe. On street parking, not a problem for us in November, but summer must be difficult.

very dissatisfied great hotel and staff but was from 11pm at night till 5am the next morning by the guests in room next door arguing and had their tv on loud very thin walls . tried to complain the next morning but there was no one at reception

It was cheap for a hotel so close to the beach. It was unfortunate that there was no on-site parking, although it wasn't a game changer. My room could have done with a "Deep Clean" to remove mold and bathroom vent dirt but this is no disrespect to the room attendant, it requires engineering / maintenance involvement.

Had a great stay here, you can't really ask for much more for a 3 star hotel at this price point. The hotel is a little shabby in some areas, ie needs a touch up but it's no issue. The shower is powerful and the room was very clean.
