piscine pas assez profonde doux le peu de photo sur le site et une clim qui avait dit etre posé dans la deuxime chambre mais pas encore lors de notre venue.

Not as Good as the Pictures Suggest!
Publié le 30 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe villa is up a complicated, winding, unmade, single track hillside road. We ventured out once after dark and resolved not to come back late again. The local council had closed all private pools 2 months earlier due to drought, which the owner only advised us day before arrival. We negotiated a 20 per cent refund. The villa itself is very tired and the contents - eg. linen, crockery etc. are in need of replacement. There was a sewage smell from time to time in the toilets. After a rain storm, the living room had a large pool of water where the rain had come under and through cracks in the front door. While the long view is excellent, there is continual noise from the motorway below. Disappointing!

Schönes Haus mit traumhaftem Blick
Publié le 10 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayUns haben die Hausbetreuer sehr nett empfangen und zum Haus geleitet, da es alleine nicht zu finden wäre. Der wunderbare Blick von der großer Terrasse und dem Pool ist unschlagbar. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht (genügend Handtücher, reichliche Ausstattung in der Küche etc.). Bei Fragen und Problemen wurde super schnell Lösungen gefunden und die Kommunikation war jederzeit sehr schnell.
Alles in Allem nur zu empfehlen…

Muss nicht sein
Publié le 19 sept. 2021 sur HomeAway4 Tage kein warmes Wasser ( Durchlauferhitzer defekt) 1,5 Tage gar kein Wasser, da Wasserknappheit im Speicher fürs ganze Tal. Karton für neuen Durchlauferhitzer ein Tag einfach neben Gerätehaus deponiert anstatt entsorgt, Bauschutt ums Grundstück nicht entsorgt und zu guter letzt sollten 2 Nächte erlassen werden was dann schlussendlich 1 3/4 waren.

Um die Sachlage genauer zu erläutern, für andere Gäste:
der Wassererhitzer war früher nicht defekt (wurde, wie immer, direkt vor Anreise kontrolliert und es gab warmes Wasser) und er war auch keine 4 Tage durchgängig defekt. Beide Male sind innerhalb von ein paar Stunden die Hausbetreuer erschienen, der Erhitzer ist erstmal "repariert"/kontrolliert worden und hat wieder funktioniert. Es ist so, dass man etwas abwarten muss - viel länger als im Bad in Deutschland, auch beim Durchlauferhitzer, da die Leitungen sehr weit von einander liegen. Dann ist es zu stark erhitzt worden, so dass etwas durchbrannte und daraufhin wurde der Erhitzer auch so schnell es ging (1 Tag) ausgetauscht. Geht selbst in Deutschland aktuell nicht so schnell :-)
Und ja, es war gerade in ganz Andalusien lange kein Regen und Dürre, von vielen Waldbränden hat man auch in Deutschland im Fernseher gehört. In der Situation wurde von der lokalen Regierung entschieden, dass das Wasser in den Bergen rationiert wird. War nicht vorhersehbar, ist das zweite mal in den 5 Jahren passiert (deshalb montieren wir gerade zusätzlichen Wasserspeicher). Es wurde innerhalb von 3 Stunden in Erfahrung gebracht, was passiert ist und wie lange es dauern wird, und als es klar war, dass es vielleicht 24-48 h dauern kann, wurde dem Gast ein Ersatzappartement direkt an der Küste organisiert und angeboten oder - eben die Rückerstattung der 2 Nächte als Wiedergutmachung vorgeschlagen. Nun hat sich der Gast für die Rückerstattung entschieden, die sofort überwiesen wurde - der Preis für 2 Nächte war 2x85 Euro und 170 wurde überwiesen, natürlich ohne Gebühren (FeWo etc). Wenn das Wasser nach 1,5 Tagen wieder da war, ist eine Rückerstattung von 2 Tagen/Nächten mehr als fair, zudem es eine Alternative gab, und die Lage nciht durch den Eigentümer verschuldet.

Holidays in Andalusia
Publié le 27 oct. 2019 sur HomeAwayIn the first half of October 2019, we spent 2 weeks in the Villa 'La Cabana' just above Torrox Beach. The ideal location for visiting the beautiful sights in the area (Granada with its Alhambra, Cordoba, Malaga and even Gibraltar reachable within day excursions) and in the evening relax on the beautiful terrace and in the refreshing pool. Also the beaches of Torrox, Nerja etc. are within easy and short reach. We can really recommend this place if you have a rental car and want to spend some weeks in total liberty and Independence from the normal tourist schedules. Many thanks also to the great and friendly hosts welcoming us on the first day and taking care of special wishes during the stay.

Fantastic holiday villa

We have just arrived home from a most relaxing holiday in your villa.
We were met by Darek and Monika who drove us up to the villa high in the hills above Torrox, we did wonder if we would ever remember the route but we did thankfully😄. They both showed us around inside and out explaining everything we needed to know. They also said that if we needed anything to just contact them, nothing was to much trouble.
The villa is about a 10 minutes drive to the town of Torrox with a few different supermarkets, Lidl’s being the first one you come to. It is equipped with everything to make your stay more relaxing (a tin opener would be handy). The outside patio was big and plenty of sun loungers to sunbathe and trees if you wanted shade. We ate outside on the big table enjoying the view and sunset every night.
The air conditioning was a welcome relief and the WiFi was handy with keeping up to date for the kids. The pool a bit on the small side (but we knew that on booking) was ideal to cool off in and our boys spend most of their time in it. We did have a slight issue with it going green half way through the first week but Darek came out and cleaned it and all was sorted.
We were ideally located for a day trip to Granada and Sierra Nevada about an hour away. We also went to Gibraltar for the day, about 2hrs away both well worth a visit.
Thank you letting us stay in your lovely villa, we would recommend this place if you want to have a relaxing peaceful holiday, but still have everything to hand if you want it. Sam, Carl and boys

Relaxing holiday

Air con needs attention and access may be a challenge as it is steep and on country road.

Super Wohnobjekt
Publié le 19 juin 2019 sur HomeAwayTolles Objekt, negativ ist die Zufahrt und das man die Autobahn hört. Aber das Positive überwiegt. Von der Lage her ist es super. Zentral gelegen, alles im Rahmen gut erreichbar. Der Blick auf das Meer ist unbeschreiblich. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.
