General Description
Front-line, beautiful Studio apartment, with wonderful sea and mountain views. The property is situated on the second floor and overlooks the promenade and beach, with views of the swimming pool. The studio has easy access onto the promenade and less than a one-minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. It is very light and bright and extremely well equipped providing everything you require for your holiday.
There is a fabulous community swimming pool and children’s pool, gardens and tennis courts for you to enjoy.
The studio is equipped with a high specification air conditioning unit, which both cools and heats, for your comfort. In addition, there is a free-standing fan.
To keep you in touch with home and work or for your entertainment, Wi-Fi is provided free of charge.
There is satellite TV showing many English, Spanish, German and French channels, with a Sony surround sound DVD player, and a blue tooth speaker to link to your phone for listening to music. This affords you the option to have a great night in if you simply want to kick off your shoes and put your feet up.
You will also find a small selection of books and a number of board games for your enjoyment. In addition, there are numerous DVDs to watch.
The studio is less than a 2 minutes' walk to the main bus station and there is ample parking right next to the apartment building for a car. From the bus station you can ride to Torre Del Mar or in the opposite direction to Nerja, or anywhere in between. You are also able to travel into the historical Malaga City very easily.
Next door to the bus station is a taxi rank, and the studio is within a 3 minutes’ walk of the library and tourist office.
There is a mini market in the adjacent building and less than a 5-minute walk to major supermarkets, including Aldi and Lidl.
Detailed description by room
In the main living area, you will find the following: -
A very comfortable sofa and armchair with a matching foot stool and throws on both, two small tables with a lamp.
The air conditioning unit is above the TV and provides heat and cool air throughout the studio. The handset is attached to the right-hand side of the TV cabinet. Here you will also find operating instructions.
A large corner unit houses numerous books and a range of board games. On here you will also find a vanity mirror, four oversized dinner plates with placemats and coasters, and other decorative items. Alongside this unit is a shelf with a fruit bowl and other ornamental objects.
On the TV unit is the satellite box, DVD player and a range of speakers for the surround sound. The handsets can be found on top of the DVD player, and the operating instructions are in the newspaper rack below.
Off the main living area there is the covered terrace, which forms the main dining area and opens up the fabulous views.
The windows fully open to allow fresh sea air to flow in and to enable you to hear the sound of the sea. There are metal shutters fitted to each window, which help control the amount of sun you wish to allow into the studio.
In the bedroom area you will find the following: -
A double bed with mattress and pillows including protectors. There are two bed-side tables with lamps. There is a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging and shelving space. In the corner wardrobe are an ironing board and clothes maid. In the drawers below the wardrobe are pool towels and extra bath towels.
Under the bed is an ideal place to store your empty suitcases.
There is a window onto the terrace area which can be tilted for a comfortable air flow.
There is also a set of curtains to provide a little privacy, should it be needed.
In the kitchen you will find the following: -
A fully equipped kitchen area including a large free standing fridge freezer, a built in oven with grill, a microwave oven and a separate ceramic hob, kettle, toaster, and a range of coffee machines.
In the cupboards you will find all the usual items you would expect including a wide range of crockery, glass ware, oven ware, cutlery, tea pot, mugs, pans, baking trays, plastic containers, condiment sets, tea towels, etc. The kitchen has everything necessary for you to prepare great meals should you feel inclined to do so.
In the bathroom you will find the following: -
A shower and large corner shower cabinet, a sink unit and bathroom cabinet for additional storage including a first aid box, numerous rails for hanging towels and a washing machine (also can dry laundry) and hair dryer. Instructions for easy use of the washing machine are available for your convenience. This also means you can pack light and make use of the washing facilities.
In the hall and broom cupboard you will find the following: -
Here you will find a long brush, dustpan and brush, mop and bucket, peg box, iron, a cool bag for shopping, a small cool bag for the beach and a range of cleaning materials for your convenience.
A clear folder containing all the necessary operating manuals for the electrical appliances is available for your convenience.
For your safety
There is a fire extinguisher in the hallway should it ever be required and a first aid kit in the bathroom.
Communal areas
There are three lifts for easy access to all floors. As this is a residential block with private owners there are community rules, and these will be in the welcome book for you to peruse.
