Lovely views
Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat property, amazing pool and views. Owner kept in touch. Secluded which we love, 10 mins drive to coast and some lovely towns with great restaurants not far. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would return.

Very nice stay with great mountain view
Publié le 28 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a very nice stay at this lovely house. Very private and very relaxing. Nice large pool. The owner were very helpfull and asked many times if everything was fine. If you are seeking a relaxing stay we can recoomed this villa.
The house is an 10 minutter drive from Torrox Costa and 5 minuttes drive from Torrox. We recommend to have a car - but its possible to walk down to Torrox - 30-40 minuttes walk. Our son did walk to Torrox Costa and it took him 2 hours.
The view in the evenings/nights are very beautifull and you only hear sounds from the insecs singing.
Very nice place for us to stay.

No photograph of extremely difficult staircase leading to main areas. Photograph of the front part of the property which is completely not accessible to the renters

We take all constructive feedback seriously. However, this feedback is entirely misleading and false. Firstly, let me be clear there are absolutely no security cameras directed at the pool! This suggestion is entirely false and we resent the suggestion that we might take the opportunity to spy on guests, it's frankly laughable. Regarding access: prior to making the booking this person contacted me asking about access. I fully explained that the accomodation is accessed at the rear via a well maintained set of stairs with a wall on both sides. This seemed to completely satisfy him. There is a photograph of the guests lower rear terrace and the wall of the stairs illustrating how safe it is can be seen on the right hand side of the photograph. I do not think it's necessary to include a photograph of a well maintained set of stairs from one terrace to another as most sensible people understand what a set of stairs look like!!
If you've read this far and have any concerns please review the feedback from other guests which us far more factual and objective.

Sehr schöner Urlaub im Hochsommer
Publié le 7 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWir waren mit insgesamt vier Personen vor Ort und haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen.
Die Lage der Villa ist sehr einzigartig auf einem Berg gelegen. Der Weg dorthin ist sehr steil und eng. Für geübte Autofahrer aber kein Problem. Dafür wird man mit einer spektakulären Aussicht belohnt. Die Villa ist sehr geräumig und äußerst gut ausgestattet. Selbst Schwimmzubehör wie Poolnudeln und Luftmatratzen waren vorhanden! Die Sauberkeit möchten wir wirklich hervorheben. Hier gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Die Kommunikation mit den Verwaltern war im großen und ganzen super. Gerade Tim und Michelle waren sehr nett! Allerdings hätten wir uns eine bessere Erreichbarkeit gewünscht. So dauerte es zum Beispiel bei einem sehr dringenden Problem bis zu 24 Stunden, bis wir eine Rückmeldung erhalten haben. Ein Rückruf auf bis zu vier Anrufe unserseits erfolgte leider nicht. Als wir jedoch jemanden erreicht hatten, wurde sich sofort um unsere Probleme gekümmert!
Wer Ruhe, eine tolle Villa und einen noch tolleren Pool haben möchte, können wir die Casa Mara nur empfehlen!
P.s. Gute Kenntnisse in Englisch oder Spanisch sollten vorhanden sein. Die Gastgeber kommen ursprünglich aus Großbritanien.

Great Property and amazing service!!!

We have stayed at a few different places now, in Andalusia and this is far and away our absolute favourite. The swimming pool was particularly appreciated- such a good size and depth- and having the upper and lower patios. We lingered over the beautiful views every single day- especially in the evenings. We were also so pleased to have such nicely fitted, well-working bathrooms and such a well-equipped kitchen. It felt like everything had been considered so carefully. Beautiful garden too.
The notes about beaches, restaurants, useful info to know, were also well appreciated.
