The room looked tried and in need of an update and the bed mattress was too soft and had a dip in the middle which made it uncomfortable.
The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, however on a positive the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.

Woukd not stay again nothing else around our room smelt damp not good for your breathing my husband did struggle

Absolutely wonderful stay. Warm welcome from the friendly family run establishment.
We had 2 days of complete peace and calm. Food was great and breakfast sublime.
Sitting on the garden terrace was a real treat listening to the babbling brook and sounds of the wildlife.
Definitely one for those who want to slow down and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We had to come home early due to a recall from our doctor and they couldn't have been more concerned it checking that we were fit to travel. Highly recommended and we are planning to return once my wife is better.

A night away
