Great location, bad organisation
Publié le 28 sept. 2024 sur HotelsBar ran out of draught lager and beer, had no bottles of cider and then ran out of rose wine. Food was fine but steak was expensive. Hotel perfectly positioned for our weekend at BTCC.

The hotel itself is really nice, very modern, spacious and clean, our room was also lovely. Hotel staff also seemed pleasant although I didn't have much interaction.
Some negatives though in the room, the toilet flush wasn't very good and the cistern took a long time to refill and also the shower, the water pressure was poor and I had the shower to the hottest it would go and it still really wasn't hot enough.
The box bar kitchen on site, I would not recommend. We had dinner there and it was not up to standard, menu descriptions were not accurate or reflective of what arrived and I would say food quality is better in wetherspoons. The service was slow and inattentive and prices were so expensive which to be honest I was expecting due to being on the track but for example a 330ml coke was £4.90. Burger with fries £19. Didn't have the breakfast at the hotel as we were put off by dinner service.
If I am honest I would not recommend the hotel and if in future I need to stay in the area I would look for somewhere else.
