Property was old and would have been very cool if the decor was of the period the building was built. Check in is through the bar.The room was dusty we had a stand alone A/C vented through the window, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel no face clothes for 2 people and could not get a second set of keys. Like we said, it wouldve been a cool place if all the above mentioned was addressed.

The room wasn't cleaned between nights or days of stays. Had to ask for towels, coffee for the next morning. Also wasn't able to check out and receive confirmation of the cost and return of deposit. Furthermore, I had to call them regarding this. This is an old hotel, and the floor in our room was sinking. It was super quiet as no one was in the bar, which is sad for the proprietors.

Was an OK, but definitely in need of improvement
Publié le 23 juill. 2023 sur HotelsFirst off, the staff *seemed* to be nice people, but turned out to be fairly disorganized. When we arrived, we didn't realize that this hotel was also a liquor store and bar (with gambling), and that we could only enter with our kids from one entrance which had no reception, so we were not allowed to bring our kids inside to check-in (reception was at the bar) and were shouted out to leave with our kids (my son had to use the washroom in the restaurant bar when we arrived and apparently this was not allowed); this was jarring and confusing to us. We also ordered food from the restaurant bar and it took almost 2 hours to receive the full order. We were told that they were short staffed. Our room was ok, but was missing some light bulbs and was difficult to reach the electrical outlet as the room was lacking these. We had a coffee maker without any cups or coffee to serve ourselves with. We ordered housekeeping and was told that it may not be available, but they would try and told us they didn't want to clean our room in case we accused them of stealing our things. Then I finally convinced them to clean our room and when we returned later that day, they did not because according to them, we locked our room and they had no way of getting inside to clean (eyes rolling). Besides this, we were grateful for working air conditioning in our room and a fridge to use. The hotel itself is quite outdated and in need of a remodeling. We were thankful they let us use the laundry.

The place needs serious attention in regards to cleaning and smell control
