Room and public areas were very clean. Older hotel but well taken care of.

The room was not as clean as it should have been and had a musty smell. Other than that, the room was pretty nice and we were able to air it out. As is typical, breakfast was marginal with low quality baked goods. LOTS of styrofoam ... so the motel managers have ZERO environmental consciousness.

I would appreciate it if you could let me know what wasn't clean in your room since the teams here generally do a great job cleaning. We should have begun to prepare for your check in earlier if the room had been unoccupied for a few days, they can smell musty. Our Complimentary Continental Breakfast seems to be widely popular with the English muffins, hard boiled eggs, Bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, and jelly, including the three choice of cereals we offer along with the pastries, Danish, and homemade muffins. For beverages we serve coffee, apple juice, orange juice, hot chocolate and a variety of teas. Coffee, hot chocolate, and the teas are available all day while the office is open, 8AM - 9PM. We do use Styrofoam cups and plates because recyclable cups and plates in our area are cost prohibitive as we keep our guests in mind always trying to keep room rates affordable. It is understandable that we have different priorities. And please note you are always welcome to use your own cups and plates if you would so choose. We are environmentally conscious about our water, our cleaning products, our laundry practices and products to name a few, so we are not totally environmentally unconscious. I hope you will come back and see us again someday.

Older motel, dated bathroom and furnishings. Relatively clean. Pleasant staff. Good choice if you're staying in Townsend.

Quiet and vey comfy
