Walk uphill at end of day after sailing was a grind. Self imposed as the hotel offered shuttles at various times. Could not have been more helpful but you have to be prepared for very Japanese experience. Try the restaurant in the hotel. Not well advertised but very attentive waiter.

Amazing from start to finish
Was totally blown away from the start, by having a bag girl carry our full packs to our room and also the manager helping us with shuttles around the area for shopping and to the train station when we checked out. Best service by far!! Amazing traditional Japanese feel to the rooms and the breakfast buffet was delicious! If you are around this area I highly recommend this ryokan...

客室の畳の部屋に既に布団が敷かれていたせいか、少し埃っぽく感じました。 海に面した窓が汚れていて残念でした。 ラウンジや、大浴場、廊下は清潔で趣がありました。

使用後の割箸が窓ガラスのレールに残っていた。 ガラスを拭いていないのか、手跡がいっぱいついていた。ただでさえ設備に老朽化が見られるのに、清掃ができていない。残念。 で、あの料金はさらに残念。
