Wake up to breathtaking views and lounge in the hammock as rafters, ducks, and fish drift by. Spend your days unplugging with family and enjoying outdoor activities like ping-pong, BBQing on the patio, or fishing off the dock (BYO poles!). In the evenings make a family meal and play board games or stream a movie on the Roku TV.

This sleepy small town rests on the banks of the magnificent Rogue River, Shady Cove offers plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities. There is a neighboring house that shares the paved driveway. Parking is available for up to 3 cars.

Guests will have private access to the entire house and grounds. River access for fishing and swimming.
This property makes a great stop on your way to Crater Lake National Park and has all you need for an unforgettable getaway. The house comfortably sleeps up to 6 with 2 queen bedrooms and 1 pull-out queen sofa bed - complete with high speed wifi so you can even work remotely while taking in all that nature has to offer. Whether you’re looking for relaxation or adventure, this serene oasis will not disappoint!

This is a remote location. There is no Uber, Lyft, or public services. A car is required for transportation.

We very much enjoyed our stay. If I had known the place was a manufactured home I might not have rented it...since there were no pictures of the outside of the house I sort of thought it might be a manufactured home...it turned out to be very nice. We very much enjoyed the covered patio and the view of the river. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds were comfortable.

Lovely and quiet
Perfect place to stay for a relaxing adventure. It's about 1 hour away from the Crater Lake Lodge and an easy drive. The house is clean and comfortable. The outdoor area by the river is covered so you can enjoy even when it's raining. Our only critique was that there was only one kitchen towel for use. I would suggest a few more for guests that like to cook and do not want to waste paper towels.

We had a wedding at the Rogue River Lodge this weekend and wanted somewhere close to the venue. I don’t think you can get any closer than this home. It was a beautiful stay. The home was clean and homey. We loved the throw back kitchen. The view of the river was amazing. Definitely recommend to stay here.

Enjoyed our time sitting on the patio listening to the water rush by and watching the birds in the trees. We took a day trip over to Crater Lake and stopped at a few of the trails on the drive up there. Will definitely hire a raft next time we’re in the area to float down the river. Clean, well decorated, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and dishes for our family. A beautiful location next to the Rogue River. We felt like a valued guest here and wish we could have stayed longer! Many properties do not deserve 5 stars, this one does.

Beautiful home and location!
The home was perfect! We had a family I’d of four adults and we fit comfortably. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook a hot meal. The home is nestled on the lake and we enjoyed our morning coffee listening to the beautiful birds! This is definitely a place we will stay at if we are ever in the area again!

We loved the property. Was comfortable for 4 adults and a 2-year old. Love the location on the river. The only thing we didn't like is that the burners on the stove do not sit flush so you really had to watch the pans from sliding. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again.

WOW!
Seriously every aspect of this VRBO was perfect! The hosts were soo kind and accommodating, the location… (I mean it doesn’t get better) with the closeness to Crater Lake and the national forests, the adorable small town of Shady Cove, the decor and vintage appliances; I could go on and on.. we are from Alabama and we will be back to stay at this House!! Thanks for sharing it with us!!

Beautiful patio on river with beautiful wall made from a rock collection. Great showers and bath products! And two very excellent restaurants in town very close, Miguel’s Mexican Cuisine and Mac’s Diner.

Airline company changed our departure flight ( from California to Oregon) & we needed a new place to stay near our departure airport. This home was reasonably priced, clean, near our departure airport & loved the very cute interior decorating. Our bed was super comfortable too! River was strong so did not enter to wade or swim. We only stayed less than 24 hours here but appreciated the location and availability.

Relaxing River House
Charming home on the river. It was such a treat to be so close to the river. Relaxing place to sit in the evening after a great day at Crater Lake and a nice spot to drink coffee in the morning to get ready for more adventures. The drive to the Rim Visitor center is about 1 hour and 15 minutes, but definetly worth it! The home is very comfortable. Nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed! The kitchen had everything we needed and a nice view of the big lawn. We really enjoyed our stay.
