The carpet is moldy and dirty. Bedding needs to be replaced. Lock on slider is broken. Very disappointed.

The decor in the rooms is pretty dated. They actually upgraded me, and were very kind, but the living area and bedroom looked like they were pulled out of an 80s jc penney catalogue.

This condo was so accessible for us—parking, outside access, taking dog out. No steps!! The condo had comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, large living room area with RECLINER!! The pool was nice. The cookout was great. The only negative is very difficult to get to the water. Would be nice to have something over sand that can be walked on with cane or wheelchair. Would love to return.

Our hotel room was dirty. There were horrific stains (was someone murdered in the doorway?) on the carpet in the hallway and the living room. There was mold on the tub caulk. I killed a crawling psocid on the kitchen counter.
But the worst issue was outside. We rented the room specifically to use the outdoor space. The balcony outside a doorwall had chairs and tables, and steps down to a private beach with nice beach chairs. Unfortunately, the entire outdoor space was infested with tiny bugs; not just at night, but both days. Most dead, some alive. The "owner" said they were midges as he tried to hit at them with a towel. The first day we still tried to go down to the beach, where the sand was completely covered with some type of flying ants/fleas that found our feet and legs a potential food source. Needless to say, we found the outside space unusable.
The layout of space -- doorwalls to the the balcony from the kitchen and bedroom -- seems convenient, but also provides limited privacy.
When we mentioned the issues at checkout we were charged full price.

We appreciate you staying with us and writing a review. We are sorry for the issues that you experienced. We do have a schedule of regularly cleaning carpets and that area was cleaned after you left. It has been an unusual year for the bugs that have hung around longer than usual. The resort has tried its best to mitigate this issue and is looking at other methods in the future to contain the seasonal bug issue. Please contact the resort directly to discuss your stay with us.

The pool wasn’t working and the smell was rough. The room was clean but it did have an odor. The balcony wasn’t private. The beach hadn’t been kept well and the chairs had bugs and cobwebs on them and no umbrellas. Couldn’t sit in balcony as it was covered in bugs. Wasn’t terrible but would spend the money to stay a little down the way with better accommodations.
