Hotel looks run down. Price for room was ridiculously high but it was peak fall color time. Everything else in town was booked.

Person working took several minutes to come to the front desk. Another person sitting in the lobby had to tell him there were guests waiting. The room was clean once we got to it.

Have stayed here several times. Waited for 20 minutes to check in with no staff response. Found a housekeeper who tried to help. Finally left for our dinner reservation. Returned two hours later and checked in with no issues.

Disappointing

The individual who checked us in (and who I attempted to communicate with on two other occasions) did little more than grunt at me. He acted in a manner indicating he was not wanting to be interacting with people at all. I booked this hotel choosing an accommodation with a separate bedroom - my husband likes to sleep in and I'm an early riser. Though there was a separate room, the door was removed. I talked with the front desk (different person) asking if the door could be returned and was told it would be checked on. Nothing. Our bathroom sink didn't drain. There was a hole in the bathroom wall from a towel rack that apparently was pulled down. I suspect it has been quite some time since the carpet had a good cleaning. When deciding on hotels in the TC area, I avoided the budget and high end. This really was a budget hotel and is on my "never again" list.

I’m handicapped and was given a second story room in the middle of the hotel. The elevator was way down at the end. The hot tub was out of order. Bathtub was cracked in the bottom.

Manager ignored me for five minutes when checking in. Do not stay in Room 242 as the AC/Heater makes very loud noises.
